Does anyone know which GPU the 2 Type C ports are connected/hardwired to? Either iGPU or dGPU or one each? Going off Jarod'sTech youtube reviews, the previous Legion Slim 5 (Gen 8) has 2 Type C where one runs through the iGPU and the other runs through the dGPU. Then the Legion Pro 5i 2023, both Type C run through the dGPU. There's no consistency. Lenovo tech support couldnt answer this properly and its too new for any detailed reviews yet.
This is the most powerful gaming laptop ever, yes, like marvel comic superhero gaming laptop lineup
Loving my 8th Gen!
i already bought it yesterday. Alhamdulillah
how is it?
@@atn6033 it is beast bro. got it fast! i bought the Legion Slim 5 16AHP9 Ryzen 7 8845HS RTX 4060 (140W TGP) 16GB RAM (*1). and the price good.
Lenovo loq 2024 i7 13gen HX processor or Lenovo legion slim 5 ryzen 7 HS which one best for video editing & hard usage??? Plz reply
HX will give you better performance BUT it's battery life is absolutely shitty and the performance also takes a big hit if not connected to the charger. Also Legion is a more premium build from Lenovo so you do get a better build quality, display, bezels, speakers, battery, and most importantly: Thermals. Loq's thermals are not as great as Legions, although of course they are good enough too. Pick your poison: Loq with HX will perform better but will run slightly warmer and will give poor battery life and relatively worse build quality etc. But Legion will perform slightly worse but HS processor means it will perform excellent even on battery power (benchmark results are better than M2 Max).

doesnt seem too different than the normal legion 5. . . . especially if they're bringing back legion 5 pro series
How slim it is? what's the thickness of it? doesn't look that slim...
Hi @93xDmario! Thanks for reaching out. The dimensions of this model (WxDxH) is 359.7 x 260.5 x 19.9-25.2 mm (14.16 x 10.26 x 0.78-0.99 inches). You may check this link lnv.gy/3x7IKC0 for the product specifications reference. -Jomz_Lenovo
@@lenovolegion thx for the reply, i don't think 25mm is that slim...but thx
@@lenovolegiongood even if it is not that thin. Thick laptop, more fans brings much needed better airflow.
it great they kept the 2023 slim design, 2024 slim 7 looks bad. hope amd version stay same with old design.
Yeah the ports should stay at the back. I wish the keyboard colour remained Storm grey though, it looked nice.
i think the white slim 7 looks prettier than ever
@@akki3535 yes white is slim 7 looks pretty but it easier to get dirty
