10 Greatest Signature Moves In Football History
Let us know any signature moves we may have missed
Get this guy to a million subs
Neymar: rainbow flick
Riquelme turn
Robben's move
Make on video defenders same like this one please 😭😭
Ozil's bounce shot deserves a mention tho
Defientley 🙌
Yeah 🙌
No
@@Josh-pj7tq says a guy who finds Amy Schumer funny, huh!
@@b7spiderx651 Yeah I know who that is.
Robben his cut and shoot. Maybe not a real trick. But even if defenders knew it was coming, they still failed.
i just wrote nearly the exact same words and then saw your comment after :D :D :D agreed
He is such a great Player...Infact he is my favourite footballer in the world
And Sambas like Ronaldo 9 did...
the master of the expected its like a bug in football game...😂😂😂
Yes. So predictable, yet nobody manages to stop it.
Jayjay Okocha's drunken dribble that no one else has been able to master
No mind them. The numerous heightens and all
Beginning to end I was waiting for it. Only Ronaldinho's trick is comparable. As a Fenerbahçe fan I was lucky to watching him. He had the ability to inventing tricks on the fly.
4:58 Quaresma talked about this in an interview. He came from humble origins and when he was a kid, he had a condition, his feet pointed too much inwards and he couldn't shoot with the inside of his feet. In order to adapt he had to eprfect his trivela. His curse turned out to be a blessing.
Aiden McGeady spin. He invented a move that was made famous by Ribery and then FIFA only gave him 4 star skills so he couldn’t do it in the game lol.
He has 5* skills and 4* WF
Definitely this one
Painzzzz🌚💔
@@nickstiltson1180 His 5* skills was taken away in a previous FIFA... smh
Forgot to add Okocha on the list, his signature move inspire R9 during 1996 Olympics
still trying to figure out how he could leave out Jay Jay
Why leave out Jay Jay?
What is the signature move
Locals in Africa call it "the leg over" R9 and robinho adopted it but Jay Jay created and made the move famous.
I will literally about to write How on earth is Jay Jay Okocha left out.
Ronaldinho also had the "no look pass" he looked in one direction and passed to the other. Roberto Carlos insane Free kicks. Cristiano Ronaldo stance in free kicks as well. The scorpion defend, I can't remember the name of the goal keeper.
Higuita
@@troub1337 yeah that's it
Harry Maguire
Higuita
michael laudrup invented the " no look pass"....mass information for you son.
Inzaghi’s signature was being offside 9 times out of 10. So the goalkeeper would be caught off-guard the 1/10th time.
😭😭
Morata perfected it. He offside 10 time out of ten. He even score hat trick of offside goals in one game
Messi's body feints, probably the most simple looking but the most effective of them all. Brazillian's Ronaldo stepovers should also be on the list.
But it is the most simple looking and least entertaining.
Ronaldo's stepovers yes messi's body feint no
@@muhammadtaimur8005 care to explain why?
@@thierryhenry674 video is about the greatest signatures moves, not the fanciest, anyone can do it to get pass a defender but Messi does it to walk through the whole defence so it got my vote for one of greatest.
You mean Robinhos stepovers
Elastico was also widely used by R9 before his knee injury
He used it once or twice
So you watched every minute of his games and counted or are you just talking out of your ass?
@@scottses3 so you never watched a minute of R9 and decided to talk our of your ass?
Forget it.. elastico belongs to Ronaldinho
@@SparrowPOV He used it much more than once or twice, a lot of times in full dribble speed. R10 is definitely the one who is more associated with it, because of him perfecting it in an artistic manner, but don't just try to rubbish fact to push something. It's like the Roulette, it will be associated with Zizou for sure, but Maradona was using it regularly as well. Or La Croqueta, which a lot of younger fans think is Iniesta's but originated from Laudrup
2:21 "no not Fred", part got me ROFL.😂😂
The Jay Jay Okocha inverted step overs, The Mesut Ozil bounce
Michael Laudrup mastered La Croqueta! "La Croqueta" should be called "The Laudrup"! That's where Iniesta learned it when Laudrup was at Barça and Madrid. ⚽️✌🏾
The roulette is also maradona's skill.
Exactly
its the most basic dribbling skill, every good dribbler uses it, because its highly effective
Finaly ! Someone watches football! I as about to mention this :) btw, Michael Laudrup is Iniestas idol!
100% agree 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The best of all : Phil Jones's ball clearence
Messi's body feint is his genius level signature move. Messi does it by observing opponents move and reacting to the other side within split seconds. Simple fundamental move yet super hard to master.
You forgot: Neymar's fake falls. This move works so effectively
😁😅
Quaresma is so underrated man
He's amazing but gets aggressive fast but truly an exceptional player
Quaresma trivela is the number 1 for me!
Everyone rates his skills and abilities but he should’ve gone further with his career tbh
The Ronaldo chop was his
Quaresma is a looser
During late 90's, Ronaldo Nazario's stepovers terrorised defenders all over the world and you didn’t include that. If you have to include a signature move, that move should be first on the list. That was widely regarded and pretty effective when Ronaldo Nazario did that.
You mean Okocha's?
U mean Denilson’s?
Jay Jay Okocha invented the two kind of step overs
Baba na Ronaldo signature move
R9 stepover was the best.
Also, Higuita scorpion kick; that's often been imitated but never duplicated! That was an insane move and he really had it mastered
That's because it was actually an insane, pointless thing to do and I for one would have subbed him immediately for pulling that shit. 😆
Neymar’s rainbow flick deserves a mention too.
What do u mean Neymar's. Okocha was doing those before Neymar started playing football
Ronaldinho was just unreal his first touch was perfect.
Absolutely Fred “Passing back to keeper”😄
Elastico was invented by Rivelinho and perfected by Ronaldo. Ronaldo could it while running.
R9 ronaldo
The fact Messi never did any of these and still the most effective dribbler in football history is mind blowing
That's because these are skills, not dribbles.
No it is not, is mediocre, and talks a lot about the poor level of recent football's defenders.
These are skills and Messi has 0 skills
@@blacqueeshd7900 thank you 👏🏾
well actually messi was a croqueta master just as Iniesta
Iniesta has 1 more signature move. He does a 360 like Zidane but in a different way with the ball glued to his right foot.
they probably have a name for that move in mexico
3:43 Another reason why Busquets is underrated
Because he isn't as good perhaps?
Yes he is!
@@sadatshams1423 he is one of the best CDM of all time... If not the best.. He has performing on the top level since 2008-09 till 2019 and he still gets one of the best match rating in Barcelona squad. He got the best player in nations league in 2021. Name a single CDM who has been so good for so long?
@@sadatshams1423 🤣
@@IPFGaming Ridjkard was just as good or better, you just didn't get to see him play I'm sure. Lothar Matthaus is also a legend at the position. And even tho Andre pirlo wasn't much of a defensive minded player he also played most of his career as a CDM.
The list without JJ Okoca is incomplete
The Flip flap was perfected by another Brazilian... "Though not Fred"!!
Definitely not fred
Cheap shot by an asshole who knows NOTHING about the game. He thinks Totti invented the chip. He has never seen Dennis Bergkamp play football.
I almost died😂😂😂😂
Dennis Bergkamp deserved a mention as well if Zavi and Iniesta got mentioned
Not luck. Positioning plus intelligence
*Xavi
Like Henry said, he was the most skillful and intelligent player he ever played with When u considered he played with Ronnie,Zidane, messi ,xavi ,iniesta etc...
Like Henry said, he was the most skillful and intelligent player he ever played with When u considered he played with Ronnie,Zidane, messi ,xavi ,iniesta etc...
Actually the Zidane move was done first by Maradona. The Neymar stop with the foot behind is pretty cool too. Definitely the Ronaldo Brazilian step over. I know it looks simple but Suarez dummy balls fake are pretty cool
Agreed ...the Zidane move was done by Maradona. He did it in the 1986 quarter final vs England as well. So I don't know why they accredit Zidane with that move when Maradona did it many years before him.
@@imraanhassan6391 not about who did it first it’s just about it being his signature move
The Ozil one is pretty dope as well
What about the 1) "million step overs" by denilson (real betis) 2) mcgeady spin
I can't believe you didn't highlight any of Jay-Jay Okocha's moves. This video is certainly incomplete
Jay Jay Oka was the most skillful player from Africa. The Zidane move was first done by Maradona back in 86WC.
Ronaldo Phenomenon - Ronaldo Trap Unknown - Marseilles Turn Neymar Jr. - Rainbow Flick
The Marseille Turn is almost same as the Roulette
Marseille turn is zidane's signature skill
Neymar's Rainbow flick is sure deadly, but putting it to this list is not valid cuz he performd it very rarely
Rainbow flick neymar wasn’t the first 😹😹
@@atharvavaidya1433 not really, of course he’s not gonna do it every game but he has done it multiple times
Pele... no touch dummy, foot jerk cut in and shoulder dribble, chest shoulder pass, reverse dummy (feinting one way then going the other way) - Ockacha... roll over dummy - Romario circle drag and feint dummy chip (before really chipping you)- Ronaldo fast and furious swing step overs and foot trap (with one foot then pushing it with the other foot) - Ronaldinho look the other way pass and spine (back pass). 🙏🏾
Pele was a nutmeg maste. Jay jay's Okocha step over should have also been there.
Quaresma is unbelievable. Very underrated
I guess Okocha didn't have any "signature" move.🤔
The sombrero flick was okocha skill
Ball roll step over.
Step overs
We called him drunken dribbler 😂
2:16 Fred got violated😭😭💀
You have missed the signatures of ( Jay Jay Okocha - Ronaldo Nazario De Lima - Denis Bergkamp - Denilson - Neymar Jr - Robinho ..... and many other players
Panenka looks like a drunk Cruyff 🤣
where is Maguire? his skill is called being a fridge
Ozil has a technique when he kicks the ball in the ground when taking a shot at goal. He scores a lot of goals for Arsenal with this technique
the bounce yes
Not just goals ,even made assist or magnificent pass
Romario's signature elastic dribble was effective & J -J Okocha step over & drop of the shoulder deserved a mention💯
What about the Mcgeady spin
Inzaghi: positioning+luck
🤣🤣🤣
@@franknitty3000 😆😆😆
Panenka = balls of steel. Going for such a shot in the deciding moment of a championship final vs. one of the best keepers ever is borderline insane. But hey, it worked. If it hadn't worked, he would have been clowned for the rest of his life.
I think you guys missed Nigeria's Kanu Nwanko's signature move...
Step over Ronaldo R9, thats DEADLY in his prime!
It was a worldwide skill, stepovers werently popularised by r9, as many others did it before him
Hey! For ur next vid u should do top 10 biggest goal counts in a match ( like germany and brazil)
Just an idea!
yeah like 8-2
Messi hater 😆
1. Zlatan's high foot one time strike is legendary. 2. Neymar's flopping.
Messi body feint Zlatan's judo kicks R9 step-over Okocha's rainbow flick
Many players perfected body feint before Messi
@@mrog2433 yeah and Messi turned out to be one of the most(if not the most) effective and consistent with it
@@vayunlohani441 it's not Messis skill tho and also people like Maradona used it very very well aswell
@@mrog2433 fr
Consider making a part 2 with neymar and his rainbow flick.
this days it should be called the yellow card move....
@@wijayabayumurti4143 lmao I get the reference. That referee's wife must be crushing on Neymar so he gave Neymar a yellow as revenge 😂
My picks.. 1. Messi’s Body Feints 2. Ronaldinho’s Elastico 3. Zidane’s Roulette 4. Ronaldo Nazario’s Stepovers 5. Maradona’s Rabona 6. Cruyff’s Turn 7. Cristiano’s Chop 8. Laudrup’s Croqueta 9. Quaresma’s Trivela 10. Neymar’s Rainbow Flick HMs: Robinho’s Stepovers Modric’s Trivela Kerlon’s Seal Dribble Paneka’s Paneka Penalty
Body feint is not a skill move
Ronaldo Ô fenomeno is the greatest Elastico specialist.
@@thierryhenry674 say that to the defenders who suffered it
@@thierryhenry674 exactly 😭🤣🤣
Zlatan's tacos?
I think Messi's body faint is the most simple and yet most effective way to dribble past defenders combined with the nutmeg which made him unstoppable
Robinho's stepover combos 🔥🔥🔥
Neymar Jr 🔥⚡💯🇧🇷❤️
How can someone call ronaldinho one of the most skillful player we’ve ever seen, true but not the right word to describe him, he’s the most skillful player to ever play football
After okocha
@@ossamaabdesslam1133 só pq vcs são africanos. Os dribles de ronaldinho eram muito lindos. Jay jay okocha só fazia maluquice no campo. Os dribles dele era muito feio.
@@ossamaabdesslam1133 Who? How many world cups,UCLs and Ballon D'Ors does he have? 😂
@@henry247 we talking about the skills by the way he is ronaldinho idol
Cruyff turns and Ronaldo chops are pretty easy to master and pretty effective. Elasticos and rainbows are damn near impossible, I could never get them right.
Fun fact: Roberto Carlos was doing the so called “Ronaldo chop” way before Cristiano Ronaldo was around.
Nobody perfected it like Ronaldo tho
@@mrog2433 Quaresma did it the most. Ronaldo got the move from him.
@@mrog2433 Hahhahahaha you fans so crazy...this skill chop was invented for the brazilian players ...pelé did it ..rivelino did it...garrincha did it...romario did it..bebeto did it...ronaldo nazario did it...djalminha did it...you dont know nothing fans...all the tricks was invented many years ago in the past.
Why did you choose ronaldo skill specifically there are some skills on the list also perfected by many other players like quaresma pass also perfected by modric you just choose to hate ronaldo you pig
Arjen Robben on the right wing, cuts into the middle and curls it into the far corner with his magic left foot. He must have scored at least 50 goals with that same move and even after years of knowing about it most defenders couldnt stop it happening again and again
Thats not a skill
@@Edkeeran the video isn't about skills. It's "signature moves"
@@hadron4834 yeah but running isnt a signature move isnt it?
@@Edkeeran panenka is? or a lob?
The bolasie flick is available on fifa
You should have attributed the elástico to Rivelino, and then given to Ronaldinho that thing he used to do when he looked to one side and passed the ball to another. That was more uniquely his than the elástico.
This is a really good football skills documentation video.
Atleast these tricks can be performed by other players.. everyone gave up on OZIL BOUNCE ..Deserves a mention tbh
I know many have said it but I'll say it again so that it sticks. How can Jay Jay Okocha be left out of this list? Are we talking about how he toyed with Oliver kann and some defenders or how he elegantly danced with the ball? No love for one of the football legends at all. Even Ronaldinyo respected him.
Always loved the berbatov spin
Great video!
Forgot to include Denilson's step overs, France 98
Messi's shoulder drop or body feint......it looks simple but always works for him 🔥✨
I agree but most people is so casual they didn't even consider mastered body feint is a skill. Well, I'm still agree with you
You are my favorite KZheadr
Iniesta skill look so simple but very deadly 🔥
Il cucchiaio è un tocco di classe XD
La croqeta = double touch 🤣 only pes players understand this.
Kunami 😍
class video!
Jay Jay Okocha's move was also classic
la croqeta isnt that hard,i did it in a match naturally without knowing about it
same here
Same bro
Right it’s super effective and easy to learn tbh
What about doing it against Real Madrid. Compare the level🤣😀😀
Yep same here but doing against a professional wouldn’t be easy.
arjen Robben the cut inside
Awesome
I have just missed Bolasie😂🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏
A list without Neymar 😂😂😂
Neymar is an overrated mess. So many talented footballers nowadays, yet millions of kids flock to him as if he was some saint. It's so sad to see. I have no idea what people find in him, and the only thing iconic about him are his over the top and consistent dives.
@@jonathan13co I agree. There is/was so many good dribbler who isn't fancy like Messi, Robben, and etc. If you want the fancy one just look up Ronaldinho. Neymar is great but his skill isn't efficient.
@@jonathan13co mofo said overrated 😂😂😂😂😂 400 career goals and assist , will end up as brazils top goal scorer of all time by the time he retires 😂😂😂😂 mofo really said overrated! Bruh get the fvck outa here
Ronaldo Fenomeno's step overs
Among them Panenka was the famous signature,..many young players are scored in penanka style penalties goal,..and still some players might practicing penanka penalties,.. Salute to Antonin Penanka for inventing such a unique and stylish special penalty kick known as penanka penalties goal, and inspired by so many young talented players..
El tornado and the bolasie flick are both seperate moves on fifa. There are some differences too. El tornado uses 2 touches with one foot and the bolasie flick uses 3 touches with both feet.
Funny how Pele did all these skills during his time 👏 👏 👏 👏
How can you not know about Austin Jay Jay Okocha's signature move? Just check Nigeria in France 98. No move beats his
I am also very surprised that this guys make a video about signature moves and they dont even know about the best signature move.
De Jong's turn is one incredible move
2:18 - "No, not Fred" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Missed Neymar’s rainbow flick or his heel ball control, nobody has ever done that before him
lol stfu thats bullshit
Excellent
El Cuauhtémoc, the move.. All time favorite moves.. he was a cheeky fellow mate... Plus if you don't know this but he has the record for the best percentage of penalty kicks in history a well.. n he was a explosive, dynamic and entertaining to watch..
The Mesut Ozil ground shot. The David Villa finesse shot. The seal dribble. Mcgredy flick Alexis Sanchez close turn the play around dribble Busquets has some unique moves too
@Nonstop Football For those who don’t know football outside the Premiership Era, this one is for u. DENILSON DE OLIVIERA was the very first player to introduce the ‘CHOP’. He first did it the Brazilian Leagues in the early 90s. Ricardo Queresma and Cristiano Ronaldo took that move and used it to their armour. So it’s not actually the Ronaldo chop. 🤦🏾♂️
Romario Cola de Vaca. Robinho Bicicleta. The move of Juninho of Deportivo la Coruna. The move of Jay Jay Okocha. The little dribble of George Weah. The Dembouze of Ousmane Dembelé. The special elastica of Mágico Gonzalez. The other trick of romario like if he is going to heel it behind but moves forward with it. The seing elsewhere when passing the ball of Ronaldinho.
Man, I really do miss that Ronaldo, Alonso, Marcelo, Ramos, Casillas team. The team was great, I was young and times were simple.
*Eden Hazard's turning *Jayjay Okocha's moves Didier Drogba's chest controls
2:47 The HeadButt Lmao i had to.
Robben cutting inside on the left? Nothing as unstoppable as that combination.
Nice video. I'd add the Del Piero goal
