President Biden's security arrive ahead of the Queen's funeral 🇺🇸 🇬🇧
Security personnel and high tech vehicles of the Secret Service arrive in the UK, in preparation of President Biden attending the late Queen Elizabeth's funeral.
The US Secret Service, along with White House staff, arrived aboard two C-17 Globemasters with the US Air Force at RAF Mildenhall.
Several vehicles used in Joe Biden's security motorcade were also unloaded, and escorted away by police. Elsewhere, other resources were preparing for the Presidential arrival.

Each and every time I see these huge planes it just keeps me so amazed that these things get off the ground and in the air even though I very well know why. Just think about the incredible amount of weight / freight is in the airplane and then add fuel to that, the weight of the airplane itself, etc. just fantastic I think.
It's a marvel for sure watching something so big and heavy just levitate off into the sky. By comparison we can only jump a feet or two ourselves! Ships are impressive with how much they can carry while floating, these are impressive with how much they can carry while in the air. Amazing to think these aren't even the biggest planes in the world too!
Doubtless they then lecture "regular people" about conserving energy/climate change..."rules for thee.." etc.
@@CobraEmergency That's why I had such mixed emotions: very angry and so sad at the same time when I first heard the news that russia destroyed the famous Antonov An-225 Mriya. In the 70's, when I lived in The Netherlands it flew over our soccer game and everything came to a halt as everybody just stared in awe of the size of that plane, I mean here was a plane bigger than the Boeing 747?? Wow!!!

To think about the enormous about of logistics and detailing that was put into this short visit is mind blowing. Look at those gigantic us Air Force jets. Incredible stuff.
It was an incredible challenge in terms of security. Thankfully, it all passed off OK. Major respect to our (the UK) security forces, and the way they liaised with those of other countries.

Sad as the Queen's death is, this is a good history lesson for the kids all over the world. Even as an adult, there are lessons to be learnt about the security that goes into diplomatic travel.

I was inside one of these airplanes during an airshow when the pilot told me a C-5 Galaxy is almost 50% longer. Cannot imagine.

They do try to not make a huge fanfare when it comes to support. For instance, US Secret Service all use rental cars and so does the AF1 teams. While UK and US are western culture I will say that it appears People in UK or more sensible and hmmm shall I say quieter about life. As recently as 1991 the IRA launched an artillery attack against the PM in central London with shells damaging and Downing Street and injuring police. King Charles was also almost shot at point blank range too. I think the US has a lot more paranoia in security arrangements. It’s quite wasteful considering safety could be maintained at the fraction of the cost and resources.

When I use to go to school in the UK; I was at a school near the RAF Northolt base. I remember being outside and seeing like 8 jets land back to back, so close you could see the little American flags on the wings. That was when Obama came to visit. Regardless of your opinion on presidents, it’s incredible to witness something like this in real life

Thanks for the video! Amazing aircraft. I took my grandson to an air show at Dover A.F.B (Delaware) many years ago. They had one on display and you could walk inside. It is absolutely humongous and pictures do not reflect how much cargo these things can move.

The President's vehicle is called 'The Beast'. Its not just bulletproof, it is bomb-proof and has other advanced defense engineering weapons. Its like an advanced James Bond vehicle but much much bigger. Really interesting to learn about on youtube, like Air Force One.
