That was a guilty pleasure to see Linus have the same toubles as me ;) This build took me a whole weekend. As side a note, you can manage to have the AIO cooling and the front usb by cutting the plastic tip of the usb wire. Now my Rysen 5 is running 10 degree cooler than my motherboard. So I will buy a 92mm fan grid and reverse the AIO fan to flow the air out. I will also try to replace the fan of my old HD7850 by 2 nocutra 14mm fan because now my graphic card is loud as hell !

When I first saw this from your CES coverage, I was a mere highschooler, frothing at the mouth about what dream machine I could fit in here. It's many years later and I just placed my order for a 1000D. I am finally successful enough to make my dreams a reality.

Yeah the PC he just built is total garbage. We all know that you need at least 512 cores with 1024 thread cpus running at 8.0 ghz to be even slightly decent, and you need at least 3 terabytes of DDR6 RAM to have anywhere near good performance. That means you would need at least 24Tb of NVME SSD storage to have anywhere near reasonable place to hold data, and for the GPU, you would need at least 8 Titan V x4s oc'd to 4,000 Mhz, one Titan V x4 having 4 individual Titan V GPUs on it, making for a total of 32 Titan Vs all running in SLI. Oh, it would have to be cooled with liquid oxygen as well in a closed ROYGBIV (Better than RGB, individual LED for every color) loop. Oh, the case would have to be made completely out of diamond with a frame made of platinum. The power supply would be a small nuclear reactor capable of producing 100,000 watts with an 80+ Platinum x99 (as good as 80+ Platinum times 99). Expect to have to sell your house and take out an additional bank loan when building this PC, and if you need help, be sure to give NASA and Skunk Works a call. And for all this, you can expect to run Minesweeper at 10 FPS lowest settings 640 x 480.

I would really like a video going into how the virtualization for a build like this or the 2 gamers 1 cpu works.
I used a servercooler for the second system.. it's high rpm doesnt require and real airflow around it and the parts around it reduce the noise of it

Because HDDs are out. There's space for SSDs and don't forget the M.2s and possibly PCI-E drives.
The audience this thing is targeted at has little use for HDDs. Even the gamer/enthusiast market is slowly phasing out HDDs. No sense trying to complain about no gas tank in a Tesla -- know what in saying?

In terms of 1% and 0.1% averages for framerate it's quite on another league. Plus you can stream and record with less compromises in terms of quality: not even mentioning how already the quad core era is on a decline, especially with this very same CPU currently being pegged at 100% usage on not-so-recent titles.
Sorry Victor my bad, I forgot to put in that those percentile figures were relative to the framerate.

I'm not sure about that, but mainly because of two reasons: 1) I do not have first hand experience on those parts in order to give an educated answer 2) If someone in the "press" ever bothered to make those figures available I'd be still rather skeptical due to many cases of favoritism
