  • This is WAY cooler than I thought it would be! Holy shit, civil engineering on the seabed, plus using submarines to install equipment. This hits the spot for an engineer. That the good shit!

Plse include the Pile Installation ... not many people realise that Piles are installed in the seabed for various structures ... Nice presentation 👏

  • It's truly amazing how they are able to keep track of all these pipes, connections and wells especially underneath the ocean where visibility is not ideal. Let's not forget about the saturation divers , the real workers with huge balls. Without them this couldn't be possible. They work in extremely mind boggling dangerous depths and have one of the most dangerous jobs , hats off to them. Truly amazing 💩💩

  • this is FASCINATING, i never batted an eye at oil rigs but recently wanted to know how they work. I was so confused and the methods used for drilling and processing oil in the ocean are so advanced. I am in disbelief that we do this on a daily basisXD great video, super informative and really well put together! thank you!

    • This is not an oil rig man , in this video SURF ( subsea, umbilicals,risers,flowlines) installation was explained, drilling is how you get the pressure up from the bottom of the sea bed which requires drill ship, or jack up barge and build the well head where the oil is coming from. I highly recommend to watch this kind of videos .

    @rajarsheefouzdar7223@rajarsheefouzdar72238 ай бұрын
    • From what I've known, the repair clamp's valve will close and seal the hole and the clamp stays there permanently.

    @praetorian3902@praetorian39029 ай бұрын
    • No, oil lies beneath multiple layers of the rocks under the bottom of the sea. It requires deep drilling to get the oil out.
