MY BOY SPAMTON MY DUDE, LET'S GO!
It's always nice when Lawl Beatdown comes out with a new moveset, and this one exceeded my expectations in every way in terms of both its presentation and animation quality! I was really impressed with the way Spamton utilized many aspects of his boss fights from Deltarune here, as well as his Kromer money system as a mechanic, which helps him deliver string attacks without punishing him too much if he gets hit by opponents or KO'ed. I like how all his attacks are based on the different boss patterns he has, but all are utilized in a very creative way (such as the Big Shot/Little Shot moves being used as projectiles with the chance to make them stronger), and I also like how the Final Smash is set up like his own boss fights, with the arena turning black and the platforms becoming the square in which his attacks traversed from in the original fights. Also, I really like his role in the lore so far as someone who wants to try to take advantage of other fighters (Homestar in this case) to finally get his shot in the competition. On another note, I really liked Stu's Smash attacks shown off here, with all of them utilizing his various toys and inventions in a cool way. This was a great moveset, and I look forward to the future Beatdown offerings as well!
This moveset is just FANTASTIC. I didn't expect this character to join in, but given the popularity of the game he comes from and how much you like him, I feel I should have seen this coming. Either way, I love the way he was interpreted here! The Kromer system is one that at first I didn't really understand (partially because I watched this video just as I woke up), but after rewatching it it's pretty understandable and not at all intrusive. Love the way Neutral B makes both the Spamton player and the opponent time when to be attacked/attack the same way that in the game you have to time your presses when buying stuff from Spamton, and the way Spamton is in his small form but has a good mixture of attacks of his original boss fight and his NEO form was particularly cool (that Final Smash tho, easily one of my favorites out of animation alone). In a way this reminds me of the fan movesets people make for Magolor and Marx from Kirby, where they use their recognisable smaller friendlier forms but with elements from their monster forms that serve as boss fights, an option I particularly liked. Also Spamton is such a great choice for a Deltarune rep because making Kris, Susie or any of the characters featured in both chapters would have the risk of them being outdated by the time the full game is released, while Spamton is likely just going to be a cameo at best given his status as a secret boss. And can I also mention the intro and ending animations? They're incredibly well animated, written and have a lot of fun details such as the SORD being one of the items that is sold to Homestar or the fact that the citizens that are seen walking around and watching TV are all from the series featured in Beatdown (seeing Lars and Sadie in particular made me smile). Makes me want to see a Beatdownbound 2 where you can explore this world even more
holy FUCK was this quality like, uh. everything felt so natural, every motion did... ...more under the cut i guess Every movement of Spamton's felt so fluid, so right, with some good squash-and-stretch and general fun-- each and every thing felt right and well-referenced, and a moveset so interconnected for someone who didn't have a ton to work with... this moveset is genuinely impressive and fun to look at and eye-pleasing... ...and the lore. Holy fuck. The lore. It's as good as ever. Seriously, you knocked it out of the PARK.

I barely know this character but I can't deny how amazingly funny this little dude is. Everything I hear and see about him is so great, from his catchy theme to his funny faces aghh :D You captured his energy so well in his moveset. Its so fastpaced and fun to look at but paced just right that my eyes can keep up without being overwhelmed. I feel like this kind of character could easily be a little overanimated but you hit it out of the park and did him perfectly. Stu too! I continue to be amazed at how well animated he is, Im happy we got to see so many aerials for him this time around. I also wanna shout out his lore implications. I like thats hes just a little dude who wants the funny soul and isn't currently connected to any big villain like Dio or Darkiplier. He's his own big shot, and thats very refreshing! Characters like him and Stephen Quire make the roster more fun. Thank you for giving us a surprise moveset to enjoy Shad, you did a fantastic job. Take all the time you need on the Gems!

damn was this amazing! the sprites were very impressive, the interaction between spamton and homestar was just the best, and a very creative moveset all around! i liked how you incorporated moves from both his first and second bosses battles into his specials (something alot of spamton movesets i've seen haven't had much of) and it was nice seeing stu get some KOs! ...yeah, that last conpliment was a bit weird, but stu is pretty cool. so are his moves! overall, amazing!
while I don't think many people expected this, it's still amazing to see you take a character with so little source material and turn it into something great.

Some spoilers down bellow lmao The funny thing about this is that I had just finished both Deltarune chapters recently, as well as beat both the Jevil and Spamton NEO fights as well (in my second tries for both, no less). Spamton was an interesting character to see. I always knew what his boss fight was, but I never really knew the character himself aside from the Kromer memes my friends kept spamming. His moveset seems very in character with himself. He takes advantage of his opponents to get himself Kromer, and utilizes that Kromer for more devastating attacks. The fact that his Neutral B references the fluctuating Kromer prices in his shop is hilarious, and the fact that it makes both the opponent and Spamton himself time each other's attacks in order to make sure the other gets the least benefits is very interesting. The other attacks were great as well, since they all come from his boss fight. From the tiny Spamtons and the Spamton heads in his side special, to the Up B and how it references Spamton NEO and the ending, to the Down B and the fact it's pipis. But the biggest thing of all though is the Final [[Smash]]. The ENTIRE thing is well-animated, and the fact that it quite literally is just his barrage of shots from the original fight is awesome (btw what's the name of the Final Smash?). The taunts were funny as well. I really like how you even referenced the easter egg where Spamton gets mad whenever you do the Big Shot glitch. Best of all? The lore. The fact that we get to see Fantasy Costco in all of it's glory is nice. However, the real treat is that we get to see what it's like outside the Beatdown Mansion, being a massive sprawling area of apartments, filled with various characters both in and outside of Beatdown's pre-existing universes. I also really like Spamton's involvement with the cast, and (like how one commentor put it) how he's his own standalone villain, without any sort of involvement with Darkiplier or Dio (at least not yet).
Really hope Garfield The Dealsworth becomes a playable character someday.
The sprite work on Spamton is top tier dude well done 👍 Also love seeing the lore being stretched with the salesman wizard Garfield from beatdownbound and characters from the same worlds in this mashed up town area (Paul and undertale background monsters) Always amazing to see an upload from you with surprising gems like this, I kinda hope the next one will be an announced characters like the gems or blockhead but don’t mind Spamton deal gimmick is pretty neat and his risky combat fits the character really well Love to see a nice schedule now that classic mode is dealt with and you got no more expectations on ya to upload Keep it bad shad

Every time you upload something, it always manages to blow me away! Spamton is a character who for as long as i've known him, i never thought would have enough for an interesting set, let alone get this soon after his source was released, but here he is! a nice, and plesant surprise. i honstly couldn't think of a better was to represent him, i love how you incorperated elements from both his regular and Neon forms with the wings and blaster for down B. it really feels like somthing Sakurai would do. like many have said, the sprite work is incredible and for the custom made ones, you did a great job at replicating the original game's style. not to mention how now i notice stuff i don't think was there before on the stages like the moving crowed on the RWBY stage or the moving sky on beach city, but with everything being visually swell...how would it feel to play him? well he looks honestly very fun and i can definently see myself playing as him often, the Kromer gimmick is actually pretty funny but is also quite well implimented, and with stuff like down B's multiple options, it feels very worth it to save up. [BIG] ol solid 10/10 here! also, have i ever mentioned how impressed i am that all of this is made in videopad? because that's amazing in it's own wright (since i barely knew how to use it for crud)!oh and don't worry, i will wait as long as i need to for the Gems. (who are probably who i'm currenttly the most hyped for)

Okay, I did NOT expect this at all. I thought you were going to put Kris or Susie in, but Spamton? That was totally unexpected.
Ok. I’ve never really seen or played Deltarune, and I don’t even know who Spamton is all that well. (Heck, I thought Garfield the Deals Warlock) was gonna be the newcomer) but despite all this, this was a very pleasant surprise, and a very good representation of Spamton! The movesets reliance on Kromer was very accurate to Spamton’s obsession with it, and every special looks incredibly interesting with or without Kromen, and this really looks fun to play! That’s not even mentioning how well animated every thing in the set is! (Specially the Lore and that Final Smash) AND that’s not even saying the great little details, like how the text is Spamton’s, and how the victory screen where Spamton wins against Frisk or Chara, their souls aren’t with them. Overall, this was incredible to watch in every aspect! Loved it, keep up the good work! I’ll never know how Garfield got that Dark Shovel…

References in specials: Make The Deal: The Kromer cycling is a reference to Spamton's Shop, where the cost cycles, forcing you to time when you buy an item to make it as cheap as possible, or in this case, time when you attack Spamton to make him as weak as possible. Little/Big Shot: Little Shot is reference to the Mini Spamtons, the hardest attack in the Spamton fight, spending 200 Kromer allows for a better representation of said attack, spending 300 Kromer gives you the Spamton heads from the Spamton Neo fight. Pull The Strings: This is just a Spamton Neo reference. pipis shot: pipis eggs, that's the free stuff, for 300 Kromer, you get pipis on wheels as another reference. Spamton Neo: This is a reference to Spamton's "final attack" from the Neo fight, no Kromer powerups.

Well, that was a surprise! Another RPG character! I would say what I thought was more interesting in the video but I'm just recovering from how many times I said Kromer throughout the time I was reading the text above. I'd say 10/10 for not just the moveset, but for the whole video because of how well it's animated! Also one thing I must address: how was this video released on the day before my birthday? (Yeah, I just said that.) Still waiting for those empty slot characters that have been delayed for like.... actually, I don't even want to complain about that at this moment.

I have a request for a fighter, why not do Custard Cookie III (Cookie Run) as for his playstyLE he’d be an all arounder and most of his standard movements either use his sword(from his story) or his fake scepter His main gimmick would be equipping toppings which give him buffs for a short time, similar to Shulks Monaco arts
