It worked, cheats and some of the improvements are also really good, such as hide in the nearby hideout by pressing R

For those who have high configurations and yet are unable to unpack the forge files, make sure to check if u have sufficient disk space, you will need about 20 gigs (this is easily overlooked)

I fixed it. Finally unpacked and repacked properly. To fix the unable to read message I just reinstalled and did each one by one instead of trying to rush and unpack all of them together.

I would retry the process with that forge file: unpack it, put the modded files in, and then repack and see if it works

60 fps physics patch just adjusts the physics of certain things like cloth to be optimized for 60 fps. So no, not necessary. Also once the mods are installed you should be fine deleting the downloaded files.

Thanks for the tutorial, but I've been having this issue where anvil toolkit will not unpack the Paris.forge and Paris_assets the console says its creating a backup then just stops. I let it go for about 2-3 hours and it still does nothing. Have you come across this problem or something similar? Should I reinstall my game?
I haven't had that problem come up for myself personally, I would try checking the nexusmods forums to see if someone had a similar issue and/or a fix. You could try restarting your computer and trying again.

You could force close it all and try again. Sometimes it can take a really long time though, so you could always try leaving it overnight

Mine currently crashed after doing everything idk why, I will try to fix it
if you don't mind me asking, how long did it take for you to unpack the paris.forge files and what are your pc specs? when i try to unpack both the paris.forge and paris_assets.forge it just stays on creating backup forever(like hours), and i have a pretty powerful machine so i don't really know what's going on.
I'm not sure, I think it wasn't more than 15 to 20 minutes for me. I have the game on an SSD drive, maybe that makes a difference. My cpu is i7-10700F @ 2.90GHz and my gpu is RTX 2060 with 12 gb vram; my ram is 32 GB (dual channel).
@@Dallin_S i also have the game on an ssd, my cpu is a i7-8700K @ 3.70GHz paired with a 2080 ti and 16 gb ram, which i plan to upgrade, but i doubt that's the source of the problem. Anyway man, thanks for answering ❤

Sorry for the confusion, it is not necessary to put the ACUfixes files in the game directory, you can run them from anywhere and it should automatically detect the running game process.

For any mods that involve modding the forge files like with the 60fps patch, the process is probably identical to what I do in the first chunk of the video. Unpack forge files, add mod files, then repack. Hopefully this helps!

Y'all on steam find the file ACU it should be the application click "copy as path" and paste it to where he's trying to create a path to the exe files are. Then remove the (") and boom done!
The mods u installed are for fps boost in a.c. unity ??
Unfortunately no haha, the first one's a mod to fix physics simulation (of fabric for example) when the game is running at 60 fps.

I believe there is a hotkey or a toggle in the mod menu itself to disable that text.

For some reason, acu fixes says " Failed to inject." when i double click acu fixes loader. Any fix to this ? Love how you respond to every comment possible, keep up the good work 👍
Hmmm I haven't really heard of that happening, so I don't have any specific advice off the top of my head. If I were you I'd try combing the forums tab of the mod's nexusmods page to see if anyone had similar issues and managed to fix them. Also, I know it goes without saying but make sure the game is fully launched (and maybe load in from the menu as well?) before trying to load up acu fixes. Best of luck and let me know how it goes.

hey, so the game is working perfectly fine but the new extracted and backups folders are taking up storage. So is it ok if I delete the backups folder? Also can i delete the extracted folder? Great tutorial btw!
Yes you should be good to delete the backups (obviously you will need to redownload if you encounter any issues)

hi, there's a problem with the repacking of paris_asset, it says "Unable to read beyond the end of the stream.-" and "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." do you know how can i fix this ?
Make sure to unpack and repack the forge files one at a time, and if the error is still appearing try starting the whole process over from the beginning with the original forge files.

i couldnt fidn it in the config folder but how do you disable the overlay? I want the mod to still be active but i dont want the overlay
Its in the ingame menu for the mod. It's one of the options, I believe its on the third tab

The mods should not decrease performance. That being said, the 60fps patch is only worth installing if you are getting at least 60 fps in the game (i.e., if due to the low endness of your pc you get less than 60 fps, there isn't much point in using that mod). ACU fixes is by far the most meaningful addition, and easiest to "install".
@@Dallin_S oh thanks, I installed both.. nothing changes I run smoothly but a slight lag when I am inside the in-game menu and inside house in the dead kings dlc location, I am using i5 8gb ram and 2gb vram, I end up removing the physics patch although It runs smoothly, I am quite annoyed since I toggle map a lot and menus when changing equipment as I approach a battle
so whenever i want to play with the mod i have to redo all these steps again ? or once i apply the mod it remains even when i shut down the pc or restart it ?
You only have to launch the ACU fixes modloader exe every time after starting the game. The stuff with the forge files and unpacking/repacking is only necessary the first time, when you install it

Controller works great on pc version. I would choose pc version over console version, I have slightly older gpu than you and the game runs great
i got a problem regarding the physics patch ive done the instructions and repacked everything the dlc the forge files but when i try to load into the game on the click anywhere to start part when i click i see the loading icon freeze and crashes how to fix?
You could try launching the game with Ubisoft connect in offline mode, otherwise your best bet would be to try reinstalling the mod probably:/

Off the top of my head I can't remember, just check theough each of the options on each tab of the in-game mod menu and you should find it

when repacking my DataPC_ACU-DLC_Saint-Denis.forge file it just says: "Unable to read beyond the end of the stream.' Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
Your best bet is probably to retry unpack, modding, and then repacking the original version of that forge file. Others said they got this error, and starting over fixed it for some.

@@patricknikw8018 I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. To save config changes in acufixes through the menu accessed with the END key, there is an option on one of the tabs to "save config" or some such. As far as hiding the on screen indicator that the mod is running, there is an option in the menu for that too. When you're done playing with the mod, you can just close the command prompt window regularly

Check at 6:40, dlc 10 and dlc 11 are copied along with "extracted" from the downloaded and extracted mod file. Skin mod installation should work pretty much identically to this so you can basically follow the same steps.

Hmmm I'm not sure. I'm assuming you've tried unpacking the original files multiple times?
how do you change the keybind to open the mod menu?
Try checking the config file that gets generated when you run acufixes modloader, there might be a keybind option there.

You should lose it. You can save a backup of your savefile though just to be sure

Hmm yeah, that's a problem if it closes the game. Make sure you have the newest version of ACU fixes installed, and double check the mod page instructions because I believe they offer a couple different options for activating it
finally resolved it! turns out its an antivirus problem, tried disabling my anti virus for a while and the mod worked!

My pc can run this game in about 30-40 fps If i download the 60 fps patch will i get 60 fps?
No, it doesn't increase performance. It is to fix issues with the cloth physics when the game is being rendered at 60fps

I cant find the gamefile either neither in the ubisoftfiles or the steamfiles just one in documents but that one is empty. i still put it in there but it didnt do anything. do u have a chance how to fix that by any chance ?
If you aren't seeing the acufixesloader.exe, your antivirus probably removed it. I would check your AV's file quarintine to restore that. If you're not sure how to do this I'd recommend using google for help

@@ahpetunya Are you saying the game only gives you the option to set the refresh rate at 144 hertz? You can try turning vsync on, or use a framelimiter (msi afterburner for example) to lock the fps at 60

I cant find the ACU.exe folder for the anvil step. I looked everywhere and validated my files on steam. If someone could help it would be appreciated
I don't personally have the steam version of the game, but if you right click on the game in steam and click properties -> then installed files -> then Browse, it will bring up the game's files and you should find the exe in there. Once you locate it like that you can just check the file path and navigate to it in the anviltoolkit window. Hopefully that helps!

Yes, obviously you will need to redownload or install them if you wish to restore them in the future
at 5:22 did they have to be unpacked in that specific order?
It shouldn't matter which order you unpack the forge files, just make sure to only do 1 at a time

It shouldn't be, but backups are never a bad idea

idk how to install acu fixes, i followed what you showed in the video. I extracted, opened game, minimized it, double click on acu (I do not get the .exe for some reason), then double clicked on the loader. do I need to put the file somewhere in the folder or just doing what I wrote will activate it?
When you extract the acufixes files, first launch the game, and once you've loaded into the game you can double click the acufixesloader exe file that you extracted. It should bring up a black window with text saying it injected the mod into the game's process.
@@Dallin_S By the way, I did just that. But when I launch acufixesloader, my game immediately closes. And after the game has already closed, I launch acufixesloader again and Unity starts with it. I tried everything and nothing works(

these mods works on multiplayer?
For all intents and purposes, yes. Somethings will only show on the end of the person using the mod (ie removing your hood only shows on your end)

There is a checkbox or toggle for it on the final tab of the menu... it should say something about displaying text when mod is running or something like that. I can't remember the exact words.
for some reason when I closed the game unloading acu fixes and opened it back up later and tried running acu fixes it would crash unity any fixes?
I haven't had that happen so I'm not sure. You could try restarting your computer maybe? Otherwise I would check the nexusmods forums on the mod page if I were you; someone else might have fixed a similar issue.

@@Dallin_S Found the solution. I was missing the paris_assest.forge file and I was able to download that from nexus mods. Completed the whole process step by step, now there is a problem. The game keeps crashing randomly after ever 30 mins. If you know can you help me pls?
@@vityzero3616 I'm not sure why it would be crashing. You could try tweaking the display settings for your graphics drivers (ie in nvidia control panel)

The way I usually do it is alt + tab to switch the active window, or windows key + d to show the desktop

i got problem when repacking Dlc 11, there are alot of errors messages like, "Unable to read beyond the end of the stream.", "Object reference not set to an instance of an object.". Help
I would start over with that particular forge file by retrying unpacking the original dlc11 file, modding it, and then repacking it.

@@nol2539 You can replace the modded forge files with the backups you hopefully created. If that's not an option you can verify files in ubisoft connect (or steam if it's steam version) and redownload the missing ones
