  • Hendo = original champ champ

  • Crazy how this was one of the last big moments in Pride. The “good guy” beating the “bad guy” type of story. Henderson ended Silvas streak in true ‘Rocky’ fashion, then did it to Fedor in the last days of Strikerorce as well

  • You could tell something was off with Wanderlei during the staredown. This was his first fight back after the concussion from the Cro-Cop fight #2. He was much less intense here.

  • One of the greatest MMA fighters of all time - Dan Henderson. As tough as anyone who's ever fought.

  • God I miss PRIDE FC. There was nothing like it. It was like real life street fighter. Watching fighters like Hendo walking out to other mythic fighters like Wanderlei, Crocop, Fedor, Rampage, Sakuraba was the fucking shit lol

  • Both of these men are warriors, badasses that made mma and the sport of fighting as big as it is today, much respect to both of them.

  • The thing that’s impressive about Dan was that he was almost always the smaller fighter

  • Dan Henderson, a true legend from Olympic medalist to mma fighting machine and champion, never a dull moment. The guy is simply made of some seriously tough stuff.

  • This has to go down as one of the greatest fights of all time. Both guys were literally trying to take heads clean off the whole fight. Hendo is just a different kind of beast. Fights like this are the reason I used my hard earned money back in the day to watch Pride instead of the UFC during this era. They were simply the better promotion with the more interesting matchups for a long while, during what I call the "dark ages" of the UFC.

  • Almost spit my drink out when I saw they labeled Wanderlei as 5’1” in the beginning… maybe thinking they messed up and meant 6’1” cause they said he was 6ft but looking him up now he’s only 5’10”. Idk what Pride was advertising but this was still a legendary fight in MMA. As big as ufc is… Pride Never Die!

  • Shogun, Franklin, Bisping, Fedor, Belfort, Wanderlei, Big Nog. Dans beaten some of the best ever and is an all time great. Legendary fighter. Hes fought everyone. One of the hardest hitting p4p we have ever had in the sport and an iron chin to go with it. Most of his loses came when he hit the age of 40+ and he was still dangerous.

  • The Yakuza put on a hell of a show with Pride. I miss it so much! Hendo is a true legend and beast of MMA.
