Antisemitism row: Gideon Falter goes head-to-head with march organiser
Gideon Falter, the campaigner at the centre of controversy surrounding a pro-Palestinian protest in London, says any Jewish person should be able to "go for a walk in the vicinity of marches".
He spoke to Sky's Kay Burley after footage showed a police officer preventing him from crossing a road near the march because he was "openly Jewish".
Ben Jamal, director of the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign, says Mr Falter came to the march "with an entourage and film crew" to deliberately provoke a reaction, and say that he was unsafe.

I’ve been on some of the London marches, I am not a religious person, just wish everyone could be peaceful. I noticed quite a few Jewish people walking very peacefully with everyone else. This man (Gideon) is the kind of person, that is the reason we can never have peace.

On every ceasefire/pro-Palestinian march I’ve been on, if people wanted to cross, we stopped and gave them space to do so, usually with a smile.

Falter has the attitude as: "Do as I say, not as I do". In other words we can do whatever we want to anyone, and they can't do anything. Some feel unable to voice their true opinion, for fear of backlash. I'm glad Jamal spoke out for those who are marginalised. Falter's words, and people who share his view only see the world through their lens, everyone else following their values, or be damned. We have free will and don't need to be force fed his views.

I tried to cross a road to get home. I was clearly not a marathon runner and the police asked me to cross elsewhere. Kay Burley should interview me. I will be walking home again during the next marathon race and I insists on crossing the road where I choose to and not elsewhere. I encourage all non-marathon runners to do the same.
