Why European leaders are divided over the Chinese president's visit | DW News

2024 ж. 18 Мам.

Xi Jinping has arrived in Paris for his first trip to Europe in five years. Trade tensions, China’s relations with Russia and Ukraine and the Middle East are expected to dominate the agenda. By including Russia's allies Hungary and Serbia on his agenda, Xi is sending a clear message that could divide Western allies.

  • Yea no. China is definitely not there to "reset relations". it is only just visiting 3 countries. China is just visiting China friendly Hungary, Serbia, and only visiting France which is China's Oldest Foreign relation country. its a recruitment drive for BRICs.

    • ICS is not targeting to recruit any Europe or hardcore US allies but EU or any countries friendly to China and Russia are always welcome to explore with BRICS. Not for those war mongering or proxy countries that follow the US blindly.

He was also the original signatory, as the leader of the Republic of China (ROC), to the establishment of the United Nations (NOT Mao Zedung of the CCP). He also coordinated with Allied Leaders British PM Winston Churchill and US Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt to discuss terms for the Japanese surrender during World War II. So the "One China Policy" under the CCP is not appropriate. The ROC under Chiang Kai-Shek should have been recognized by the U.N. as the pioneer member of the U.N., not the PRC. Incidentally, why does the U.N. and its Sec. Gen. Antonio Guterres STILL consider China as a DEVELOPING COUNTRY, despite its being the 2nd largest economy in the world, its ability to build their military and nuclear arsenal to eclipse the USA & Russia, its advancement in technology on robotics and even in AI that surpasses the USA, its advancement in Space Exploration & abilities to send its own Space Lab in the earth's orbit and Space Probes to the Lunar Surface? Is it to give more benefits and special considerations to exempt it from major U.N. programs like "Climate Change" mitigation programs, to allow its government to subsidize its manufacturing industry to give it an advantge over its rivals, and to allow it to pollute the earth by building more coal fired power generators to drive its economy faster and cheaper than the rest of the world? Is Sec. Gen. Antonio Guterres under the pocket of China's Pres. Xi Jinping? Looks like it, hey!
