Nothing better than whatching a nothing video about nothing
so you just clicked on the video and saw nothing🤔
So im replying to a comment of a nothing video and saying nothing
Bro how did you comment on this video 12 hrs ago ? This is video was uploaded around 30 mins ago 😂😂😂😂😂
Watching on Nothing
@@arnavarora4338 members have early access
You forgot to use your typical intro with the iconic finger snap and “let’s get started”.
oh snap...
aahh I see what you did there
There's nothing to get started.
You forgot it is about NOTHING PHONE.. so NOTHINGG😂
even the bend test
Durability test and teardown in one video? Man we've come a long way. Also you forgot the thanos Snap*
the phone costs less, so ROI is not needed I guess, also baldy is busy
He's done it on a couple phones lately. Zenfone 10 and Motorola for example.
I mean its a budget phone after all , it's built like any other budget phones out there except the design there isn't much content to make separate videos for durability test and the teardown.
Unfortunately Zac seems to be getting more lazy - perhaps because he now has a lot of sponsorship and no longer needs to crank out videos in pairs. I have noticed this with other professional KZheadrs. Perhaps I'm being cynical, but I notice the sponsorship section is now done as part of the teardown - in an attempt to keep you looking at that section. It won't work on me - I just skipped. If it gets worse, I won't be watching at all.
he does it because nobody would be interested in a whole second video, he does second videos for the bigger phones since more people will watch them. but a phone nobodys heard about wont get that many views. it's very simple idk why people don't realize it...
Wow, with a plastic frame and back, this phone must be refreshingly light. Impressed that it passed JerryRigEverything's bend test too! 💪
Confirmed! Nothing 2a weighs in at only 190 g! 🤯
@@ropro9817shouldn't it weigh nothing
I miss plastic phones. Glass backs are kinda ridiculous, especially since most people wrap them in plastic so they don’t shatter.
@@float32 Exactly!
@@dazlfc 😂
Just FYI, the "decorative" rings around the camera are indeed not wireless charging, but rather the NFC coils.
nope, they are just decorative. the actual NFC coil is smaller and flows between the cameras
I didn't think this phone had wireless charging.
that a lot of NFC
This review is what I have been waiting for. I ordered it this morning!!
The timing couldn't be better. Mine's on the way and gets here tomorrow.
Wouldnt order from them, heard people say you'll get nothing
I have nothing for 7 days

It's great to see companies like Nothing challenging the status quo and delivering exceptional products despite being a budget phone.
I have been waiting for this video because I'm literally watching it on that phone right now. Loving it so far after 2 weeks of use
Does the battery get drain fast?
This video is perfectly on time! Just yesterday i was checking your channel for if you had done a video on this phone
I purchased a nothing phone 2 after looking at your teardown, and i am very satisfied with it👌 Nothing makes me happy
2a bringing something unique to the smartphones industry, a welcome one. Nothing can stop them! (pun not intended)
how is stupid lights a “welcomed” changed?

I wish more phones came with a plastic build. I love my pixel 3a because I can rock it caseless and not have to worry about dropping it and shattering the back. I don't mind if it gets a little scuffed up I think it just adds character. I'm definitely looking to get a nothing phone whenever I decide to upgrade
Just for the info, that power off/on animation isn't nothing's addition, it's from AOSP since A12 or A13 😅 Other OEMs probably disable this, like some other useful AOSP features, for example, notification history.
Illumination??
Yeah I was confused by the wording too, but they're referring to the screen on/off animation when pressing the power button
Dood please do xiaomi 14 pro and titanium also ultra you all will suppress and chucking what in world the biggest smartest person then allls iPhone ever and allls Samsung please tested them they are amazing Its been 6 years he stop talking about them sad
Indeed. Google keeps it on Pixels
@@CardBreaker9yea but that's simply an animation from stock android that nothing left original
really pretty UI! Love the frosted glass look
I was waiting for this video Zack 😊
So just to be clear, this phone is 300 quid in Blighty, 120hz display, no ridiculous notch, decent cameras, fast charging, decent OS and people still buy basic iPhones for twice the price? Curious !
The Apple fan base is composed by people that would buy a Ferrari do drive it in a brick road in the rain. Don't expect much from them
Apple is master of creating "cheap luxury" illusion. Not expensive enough to be real luxury and not cheap enough so that everyone buys it.
4:28 worth mentioning that being a very outdoorsy guy Zack's fingerprints aren't what they used to be. Much like how in the past his head used to be covered by a large bumpy afro now it's all smooth.
Worth mentioning you have no clue what his fingerprints used to, or currently look like.
@@memertmemes2586 looked like? 100% currently? He did mention on previous tests that they are pretty much gone. Only Samsung's ultrasonic or physical fingerprint readers can scan it.
I've been waiting for this little guy, glad to see it's holding up
I love that Nothing really Really go all in on their aesthetic. It's wonderful.
Super agreed on plastic frame and back phones. 👍
I’d rather deal with a scratch than a crack or break any day.
@@dmandman9 Me with a case: 😏
@@MomonosukeKozuki I actually use rugged phones that don't need a case. The edges around the screen are raised, and they're rated IP68 and IP69K. It' supposedly meets MIL 810G. Most new rugged phones meet MIL 810 H. I think thats includes vibration standards. It's rated to be able to stand a 5 foot drop on smooth concrete without damage. Supposedly it can endure being under 5 ft water for 30 minutes and has the ability to take photos under water. But the main reason I get a rugged phone vs a case on a regular phone is because rugged phones often have unique features such as an infrared camera and/or a thermal imaging camera. Both can take pictures in complete darkness. I also have a battery that can last 2 days with moderate use. The disadvantage is that most are Chinese and have no local support if there's an issue and come with few updates. But I like them. And wish the few name brand rugged phones available at USA carriers had the unique features. But they only have the rugged capabilities but nothing else stands out. And their specs are middling for the price.
Was expecting that plastic back panel to snap instantly in the bend test. Great job Nothing phone. 👍
Great experience so far after half of day, no heating issues, clear crisp display, very loud speakers
Love Jerry's drawings 😅❤. He should make a phone case to show it off .
I never saw the worm design until he draw it, the camera the eyes and the copper coils the body of the worm, 😂 🪱2a
*Zack's drawings
I think he's got a T-shirt called "Art class with Jerryrig" with all the drawings he's ever done (behind phones, ipads, tablets etc...) in the razor knife website
Nothing over here showing us how it actually IS possible to make cheap but very high quality products at the same time. Companies just choose to profit 20 times more because the consumers just eat it up and dont care
yes, Zack, we'll see you around!
i just bought the phone 2 days ago and then 1 day later you make a vid about it and the phone is here now
Nothing about this phone is going to make a dent in the bank account. Thumbs up for that! Speaking of ‘nothing’ - we haven’t had a bunker video for a bit, when will we see that project again?
Really enjoying nothing's products so far
kinda looks like form over function to me
Jerry this is how you do an ad I will definitely watch! I used to skip if it was at the beginning. Showing what you usually would cut was such a perfect idea and I listened to the whole ad. Cheers Zack! Love my St Patricks Day knife I bought
Love your videos man. Keep it up
The power on-off animation is an AOSP standard visual design. Other than some fonts, widgets and colour themes (and the glyphs), Nothing really has done... nothing to change the appearance of their Android skin.
After all it's made by one of the founders of OnePlus, whose UI also is very very close to stock android
The fingerprint sensor on it works flawlessly and super fast for me, maybe you got a bad unit?
Interesting new format. Going straight to the teardown
I've been following these videos for the last four years just for the iconic "Scratches at level 6 with deeper grooves at level 7" and still can't get enough of it. Great videos Jerry !!!
Nothing is consistent here 😂
I've been following the channel for past 7-8yrs maybe. Whenever you'd drop a video I'd prepare my meal and sit down watchin the vid like a movie or smthn after having college all day. Lately I've been feeling that vibe has been drifting away from the channel. You've started so many cool projects but suddenly move on to the next one without updating on how it ended. The electric hummer series was awesome in the start and mid but I kinda dont know what happened towards the end cuz there was no final conclusion and it was felt even more in the underground bunker project. Some videos nowadays feel like I see it on my KZhead feed and decide to make a pass cuz it doesn't look I'll be interested. I can understand there are millions other who might want to watch that atleast I hope so. For me the channel was about opening stuff to find out how it works and learn about the amazing tech inside and also build stuff. But now vids like cybertruck bullet test, charging ford with tesla charger, longest range electric trucks...I mean I did not associate your channel with such content. Dont get me wrong I'm not complaining (nagging maybe a little) but thats all because I as a follower have been associating your content as a source to know more about tech and and learn from your experiences in the smaller projects I undertake. Bring back the old content where you'd just open up stuff to see how it works and also about the projects if you have something interesting going on.
Oh boy I didn't realise I ranted for so long.
Man i would love Jerry started to read audio books!! Could sleep very well from his voice
love the alliterations at the start hahah nice detail
even when it's nothing, it is something.
10 more like, I will buy nothing...👍
Show
Finally after 1m of launch he did it !!!! I was waiting teardown on 5march
I bought it yesterday and you tested it today wow
When are we getting the next bunker update
i have an NP1 and it's a haaard flex, people love the lights. I wish they made iPhone mods instead because the front camera and video recording mic suck ass through a crazy straw but I can live with that.
You really should auction the many works of art on some of the phones you have "improved" over the years and put all the proceeds to good work you do with Libraries, wheelchairs, and good cause's. I bet there is a lot of fans who would like to get a one off work of art piece from you and know the money is going to a good cause.
Nothing phones are no doubt, very well put together. They can be broken down and out together again and they'll function normally. Very cool.
Surprisingly good for the price 🎉 Well done Nothing…… thanks for……. Nothing
Props to Nothing for making a phone in which zack broke nothing so ig thanks for... Nothing?
worlds first JerryRigEverything comment that actually uses the correct name
@@Randomness662 lol
The main things good about nothing phone 2a is the extremely affordable budget phone that gives software experience better than most flagship phones like it has been barely a month since it's release and nothing has provided 3 or 4 software updates
I watch all your tear Downs. And I have always bought budget phones because I am not paying $1,000 for a phone ever. I would like to see you do more budget phones.
explain what happened to your hair
Nothing happened 😁
Burn test gone wrong 👽
The illuminating-from-power-button feature is from Pixel. Pretty sure it made into stock Android too, OEMs just have to configure it properly.
Thanks Mr Zack for the Nothing
I like when you split up the test to the teardown videos! Great video still tho! 6:11
Watching the Nothing Phone 2a durability and teardown video with regular Nothing Phone 2.
i gotta say that the camera placement on the 2a couldve been better. it just seems kinda off
Yeah takes some getting used to visually. Reminds me too much of old Samsung phones w/ the cameras in the middle back. Or even google pixel phones

Amazing! We need some bunker updates! Been a while
Finallyyyy a phone durablty test🔥
Maybe dbrand should try making fun of his wife and then we'll see who gets triggered or not 🤡
That’s cool, he will accept that for 10,000$
Will we ever say he forgot to put the Sim card try back in to the phone and the random plastic piece hehe
A teardown for the Xiaomi 14 ultra will be interesting. The camera that you can also use as a phone.
Im just waiting for the KYOCERA duraforce pro 3 video. It was hinted at the end of 2023!
dbrand is racist
Just so you guys know, you're watching someone who openly supports racism. Do what you want with that information.
What did he do?
@@zeghegheghegheg4519 Supported a brand's racist joke on a indian customer's name on twitter because he's paid by them.
Hey I figured out a reason that the burn test is actually useful! Granted, it doesn't apply to most people, but, sometimes embers from my cigarette fall onto my screen, so having something that doesn't get damaged by heat for a second is a plus.
I want a video on the new Samsung A55 because it has much strengthened the case, making it much stronger, according to them. They also installed a new Gorilla Glass victus +, which is also very interesting to see.
dbrand has made racist comments on an indian . boycott dbrand
That has already been rectified. It wasn't even that bad of a joke.
You really crippled the phone like your crippled wife.. It's just a joke btw 😆😆 Dbrand will send u 10k for it later
Jerry , did you make snake for your wallpaper? 😂 The tree branch with the snake on back of the phone 😅
Zack just recording a video and also CASUALLY sliding in a low key advert for iFixit 😆 8:33
Nothing can make speaker balls bigger for better sound. 7:33
Hi Jerry In a recent development Dbrand openly justified being racist (on X formerly Twitter) Also offered 10k as compensation Please let us know what are your views on this ??
His views were also racist
definitely he won't because he's too American to do so
Waiting for him to say "scratches at level 9 with deeper grooves at level 10"
bro its plastic
@jerry, I have you a very good test for the biometrics, fingerprint, but more the quality of the privacy screen protector... If that allows you to keep using your fingerprint (optical) once is installed
Its always fun to watch your videos while I eat.😅
I like your videos man. But what's up with supporting Dbrand when they clearly went out of their way to insult someone because of a legitimate problem they had with the product? I thought you were all about consumer rights? Would you also be as supportive if they insult a disabled person next? Would 10k be justified then?
I think you mean, Nothing is different
I found it really easy to remove the back cover of my phone. Especially when the battery expanded 2-3x it's size and popped it off.
Would be nice to see the budget guys feature more... I'm talking of Oppo, Xiaomi and the likes. I suspect most would snap but it's worth a try. Personally I'd love to see the Oppo find X5... made of ceramic they say.
A2d army assemble 💀
Cringe
Waiting for Jerry's video breaking his partnership with racist dbrand.
🤦♂️
What happened with DBrand ?
You should definitely do a teardown of any one of those IP68 rated midrange Motorola phones like the Moto Edge 40 or the Moto Edge 40 Neo or the recently launched Moto Edge 50 Pro. It will be interesting to see how they are providing IP68 at such budgets.
Every phone I've ever had goes straight from the box, into a case. The plastic back, with its scratchability wouldn't bother me at all. But I do prefer the "overdone" LED glyphs on the previous generation. My outlook is that if it's worth doing (having glyphs), then it's worth over-doing! (My philosophy makes my wife crazy.)😁
how much to drop the wholesome wheelchair virtue signal schtick? dbrand paying btw.
1,000$
Unsubscribing for supporting racist behaviour
Art class with Jerry is back!!
I will never get bored with these videos! Cant wait to see what 2064 brings!
Bald racist
Baldy racist
Why😠
What
It'd be great for you to get a machine/sensors that measures the pressure on the bend test so it's a fair ground for every phone.
Speaking of the plastic case being better for reception, could be interesting to take that phone to somewhere with spotty service and see how it compares to a more traditional phone.
Unsubscribed you for staying silent on dbrand racism.
Durability test of Samsung's A55 would be interesting to see, how much effort goes into the structure of budget phones
That's such a solid piece of tech
"Nothing would make me happier than seeing this Nothing turn back on" 😅 Never thought I'd see a day the word "nothing" becoming a noun. 😅😂 Awesome!
I'd love to get one of Zack's bend tested drawed on phones 💖
the screen turning off animation is an android 14 thing my Xperia has it too, pretty sure most stock ish android 14 pho es have it
The animation coming from the power button when you turn the screen on/off is aosp android thing. It wasn't nothing that made that and almost every android has that unless the manufacturer specifically removed it.
You should add a water submersion section to these durability tests
