Competition is good for consumers. The PS2 era sports games had so many options that led to developers pushing the limits of their creativity. 😢

Well stated! 💯my buddy and I were talking about that a while back. I remember one year there was ESPN football, Madden, NFL fever, and NFL GameDay which was a big hit in the late 90s. 🥶💯 Great times as a kid having all those options just for football. Just for context

With how amazing both NFL 2K5 and All Pro Football 2K8 turned out, you're always left imagining what could've been had 2K not stopped making CFB games.

The players feel very floaty and players can’t catch. The graphics did look great for the time
@@rockyzeegames8054 exactly. I also hated the way you called plays but overall it just wasn’t a good gameplay experience. I wish it had NFL 2K3 gameplay but it was like a slightly worse version of the 2K2 gameplay

If I remember right, recruiting was absolutely trash. If they could make a college football game like their Hoops 2k games, the amazing of that would be in history books for years to come.

The game just isn't that great. It plays more like NFL 2K2. Doesn't have none of the options and customization of EA's College Football. The create a school is mediocre and there's no team color accessories for create a player. They should've made the gameplay like NFL 2K3 and it would've huge. The game plays more arcade than an actual sim.
