McDavid scored 3 straight goals two days ago against this same team, and he did so, on the powerplay, tipping it, completely unassisted, and then when he got thrown on with the third line for a shift. Oh and primary assisted the firsttwo Oilers goals before that. Draisiatl had a secondary assist on Connor's first primary. That is what a Hart trophy candidate looks like. Do not mistake a gifted goal scorer on a team built on offence, who can play games like this, as someone in that conversation. 7 powerplays 0 goals. Jesus Christ how.

People and haters are absolutely insane and are acute after watching this game? Leafs are literally missing 7 or 8 regulars on their roster due to injury. What did you expect to happen?!? For Nic Petan to score 4 goals?¿ No, of course this Leafs team wasn't going to play up to standards because of it. If the Leafs gains back some of their players on Wednesday they will bounce back. Freddy Andersen has a LBI after that ridiculous sprawling save on Saturday so he is probably experiencing tightness rn. Hyman blocked a slapshot with his goddamn injured foot? Of course he was going to be out. Thornton is only just recovering from a fractured rib and is 41. To risk further injury sitting him out a game for rest is fine. Muzzin literally has a broken face! Simmonds has a broken wrist. Campbell literally pulled his groin and had Tkachuk perform a WWE move on his pissing head for good measure. Like these people and fans are saying that the Leafs are trash but we are literally still top in the division Up by 6pt vs Oilers Up by 7pts vs Jets Up by 9pts vs Habs Up by 11pts vs Flames Yeah losing the game sucks but we still have a sizeable cushion while we have a three game set vs the Oilers who literally have a KHL goalie and one that is in his twilight years and a defence core that is half an AHL team due to injuries. When fully healthy, the leafs are so deep. Injuries are a blessing in disguise for some of the non regular players. They really needed to step up. Although vessy is a regular, this was the perfect opportunity for him to do something productive on the ice. I think he’ll be benched or replaced with galchenyuk or someone else. He looks the worst on the ice. Just flip flopping around

@@bpearsell fun fact - one of the 13 Cups that Leafs fans brag about came in 1917-18. There were four teams in the league and one folded six games in. Three teams made the playoffs. The Leafs beat Ottawa (9-13) then Montreal (13-9). The rest of their “Cups” were much the same. Beating one mediocre team and Montreal. They should have gotten participation ribbons, not Cups.

Its amazing...... The Leafs lose a game here and there and everyone calls them garbage yet they've beaten every team in the division at least once so far. It shows how stupid some people truly are. As it stands, the Leafs are leading the division still so how exactly are they trash? Every team will win games and lose games, it means nothing. We'll see where everybody sits at the end of the regular season. Just about every team has a chance at top spot in the future, it all comes down to how each team plays and, of course, injuries. McDavid scored 3 straight goals two days ago against this same team, and he did so, on the powerplay, tipping it, completely unassisted, and then when he got thrown on with the third line for a shift. Oh and primary assisted the firsttwo Oilers goals before that. Draisiatl had a secondary assist on Connor's first primary. That is what a Hart trophy candidate looks like. Do not mistake a gifted goal scorer on a team built on offence, who can play games like this, as someone in that conversation. 7 powerplays 0 goals. Jesus Christ how.

Of course he was going to be out. Thornton is only just recovering from a fractured rib and is 41. To risk further injury sitting him out a game for rest is fine. Muzzin literally has a broken face! Simmonds has a broken wrist. Campbell literally pulled his groin and had Tkachuk perform a WWE move on his pissing head for good measure. Like these people and fans are saying that the Leafs are trash but we are literally still top in the division Up by 6pt vs Oilers Up by 7pts vs Jets Up by 9pts vs Habs Up by 11pts vs Flames Yeah losing the game sucks but we still have a sizeable cushion while we have a three game set vs the Oilers who literally have a KHL goalie and one that is in his twilight years and a defence core that is half an AHL team due to injuries. When fully healthy, the leafs are so deep. Injuries are a blessing in disguise for some of the non regular players. They really needed to step up. Although vessy is a regular, this was the perfect opportunity for him to do something productive on the ice. I think he’ll be benched or replaced with galchenyuk or someone else. He looks the worst on the ice. Just flip flopping around
