The Maple Leafs deserve credit for winning a playoff round for the first time in two decades. Not ridicule for *not* going all the way. Yes, I will die on this hill.
As a leafs fan this is the farthest they have ever made it in my life and this is the proudest I have ever been to be a leafs fan. They finally made it to the second round and won a game in the second round so what would be a decent playoff run for all is a magnificent run for the leafs. No matter what happens in the future win or lose I will never forget this magical playoff run

notice how nylander was heavily involved in most of the goals... he always shows up and dominates in the playoffs. rielly was also amazing and tavares played well.

The leafs didn't choke a 3-1 lead or got swept by Florida so basically the leafs was the only other team besides Vegas to not get embarrassingly eliminated by Florida

Welp... I think I can tell why I didn't want this video to be so soon, I wanted this to be at the end once they win the Stanley Cup... Just saying, our team only lost this series because losing Samsonov and Knies, they were our only hope, but I can tell Woll was great, but the whole team wasn't so lucky on getting any shots past Bobrovsky, he's been so caught with this game so really gotta give him some respect...
No. They lost because they choked. Every game they had a lead and blew it... Woll was incredible and if you are telling me their only chance to win was based on some kid straight out of university, the team needs to be blown up.
@@alexrompen805 That is just not true. Game 1 they never had a lead. They had leads in game 2 and 3 where we lost our goalie due to injury and we were never up in game 5.

First second round since 2004, they earned the right to celebrate. When you haven't seen a cup since 1967 and yet been around almost as long as the Montreal Canadiens you need to cling to any reason to celebrate you can.
