The kitty cut, but I'm not sure if that's good for someone with straight, fine hair? It's not Super fine though. And would you think that my stylist would know what that was? I'd be afraid to be set on getting it, only to find out that she didn't know what it was, & then I'd be at a loss to be able to describe it to her.

@@CherylBerryl Hey! It is really important to save lots of pictures on your phone to show your stylist exactly what you like and what you don't like. You have to be super clear with visual references. If she doesn't know the term "kitty cut", if she's skilled, she will be able to see the shape of the cut and the layering from the pictures and recreate it.

Hey, Gabi! This is so ironic that you just posted this today because I got Birkin bangs last week. You are right about this cut totally changing your look. I couldn't believe how different my look became, and I love it! I also received so many compliments. I do have fine, straight hair, making styling a breeze. Just a light spray of medium hairspray keeps the bangs perfect throughout the day.
You’re getting a blunt bob, chin length. I’m glad they’re in again - with a few exceptions, a blunt bob has been my go-to haircut for 35 years. You guessed it, I have fine hair! 😁 I actually have a bit of natural wave, but I never have problems air-drying this cut. It always looks flattering and pulled-together, and takes minutes to style. Keep in mind I first got this haircut when everyone wanted their hair big, bigger, biggest, and 45 minutes of styling with blow dryer and hot rollers wasn’t unusual. I told my hairdresser I didn’t want to spend 45 minutes styling my hair, and he gave me this. I couldn’t BELIEVE how perfect it was for me. All the best with yours!

I looked like Dora the explorer when I got a blunt bob😂 It was awful for me.
Blunt bob is your choice! Mine too, sort of. I am pushing 70, and my hair used to just be a bit swishy, mostly straight. I sported what was called an undercut bob most of the time. It tended to want to flip and still does. As I aged and lost color, my hair has become a mix of straight (as it leaves my scalp), wavy, and curly. It has been so difficult to find a low maintenance hair style for the humid climate in which I live. After many different experiments, I now have a chin length bob with just a bit of low top layer to let the curls go free. It is working out very well. I have always had those bangs too. Look forward to your new style!
Hi Gabi! The chin length blunt bob will look gorgeous with your shiny tresses! I wish I could grow my pixie out to a bob but it’s too fine and thin, especially in the front. So I will have to be satisfied to admire those who can rock that style!

I can't wait to see your chin length, blunt bob! You have such an amazing bone structure, and you really embrace those more classic styles. I am currently trying to grow out a pixie that I had cut suuuuuper short right before Thanksgiving. It made my bone structure really look nice, but I realize I prefer a softer, longer hairstyle on me. I will probably work my way through a shaggy bob and into a face framing mid-length haircut going forward. I've tried doing a bob without bangs, but I now realize that I need bangs and layering for my hair texture and to soften my overall look. Even though I have some texture and bit of wave to my hair, the Birkin bangs really do look good on me. Thank you for all of you wonderful videos!

I too am drawn to classic styles. Love a great sharp blunt cut bob which you’ll be showing us tomorrow. Love bangs, way high forehead, Birkin’s are my go to style and what I’ve been wearing with front fringed layering. So easy to take care of with hair on the thinner side. Just saw your short, been looking for this very soft, not too tight curl for styling the front fringe a bit different once in a while. Perfect timing - thanks Gabi!

I had to cut my knee length hair to 3:26 the blonde's length. I'm not happy about it. Imagine something you love so much is taken away in seconds. This video helped me bring back some confidence.
I had superlong hair until my 40s Don't mourn the length change. Try some styles you couldn't do with the long length. Remember that hair grows, too. If you can't wait; there are extensions or even wigs. Good luck!❤
I literally just gave myself a pretty significant trim, lol. I have wavy, very fine, low density hair. I had a bob that looked like a Christmas tree lol. I decided to round it out and very subtle face framing. I’m waiting for it to finish drying to see scrunchie it out and see the results 🤞🏻 Good luck on your blunt bob. I love it on you.

I have baby fine stick straight hair that I’ve always fought with. I finally got a bag with wispy bangs and have had sooo many compliments and it’s dead easy for me to style!
I have a pixie that is trying to grow out. I'm at the in-between stage and it sucks. I prefer a shaggy style. Love all of your videos. Thank you for taking the time to do them. ❤

I look at all those fun layered styles, but…they never work on me, especially with my fine wavy hair. I prefer it straight and blunt ends are my friend. It always looks fullest. You'll be getting the chin length blunt bob again! I went for a blunt lob last year after watching your videos after years of having long layered hair and loved it! As it grows out I'm having more issues with triangle head though 😅 I'll be going for a mid length cut this year or butterfly cut.

I just got a fab haircut right before New Years Day! I, too, was growing out my slightly above the shoulders bob. My fine, slightly wavy hair now sits right below the shoulders at midlength with butterfly face framing layers to balance out a narrow jaw. But I traded out the long layers in the back for an undercut. Like you, I like the classic hairstyles better too. I am loving my new cut for 2024! Thanks for another great hair video! ❤

I had long thick wavy type 2b hair halfway down my back and about 6 months ago I got it cut to my shoulders and its the best decision I ever made! It was SO much maintenance I actually started hating it when it was longer, now it's super easy to maintain and doesn't give me headaches when it is tied up. Loved this video definitely gave me some ideas!

My favorite is the long classy haircut without layers in the back and only some face framing. I always had to much hair for a bob. I tried it once and looked like a triangle. Now my hair is getting thinner, because of hair loss, I‘m about to try it again.

I was waiting for it to get a little longer to cut in a short bob but really don’t want something that requires me to go back to straightening/blow drying everyday. I need layers and about 6 inches cut off my hair altogether, maybe more. I know you have shared that you have curly hair (that is how I found you a couple of years ago), and I don’t think you’re going to wear your hair super curly, but I think you are going to get the round curly cut with a fringe and maybe tone it down a bit? The blunt bob, chin length. Mine is a bit longer between the bottom of the neck and just above the collar bone. It does help my hair look and feel thicker and fuller.

My sister has extremely extremely curly hair and it’s a real struggle for her too! You really have to fine someone who specializes in that because the techniques are completely different!

I love blunt bobs but I have such thick and wavy frizzy hair that I have to heat style it a lot. Contemplating getting it again with hidden layers and getting it thinned out. I don’t mind styling it too much as i only wash/style twice a week.

You are getting yours recut into a chin length blunt bob! You always look so beautiful no matter how you wear your hair! I have been growing my hair out for a year and it's finally a medium length bob. I was having issues with the triangle shape due to my thick hair so she added some layers the last time I went and I love it, but think I could actually use some more on the side where I part my hair to give it more movement and take away some bulk. I love going back to your videos where you show several quick and easy ways to style hair with accessories. My hair is on the thicker side and I would love to be able to do some fun things with it between washes besides pulling it back in clawclips or a ponytail holder. Can't wait to see the results of your cut!

I think we have the same hair texture. I got a bob haircut back in December. It's grown almost to the tip of my shoulders. Now ot just feels bulky and heavy on the sides. I now have triangle head! Dis you get more layering on the sides? I'm afraid more layering will make it even look like a ball shape. What to do?!
