    • Ricky knew that winding Karl up = entertainment, but all the fans love to see Karl actually smiling/laughing/happy. Imagine a wildlife programme where Karl and another presenter go and explore and find cool animals. Karl actually said in one of the radio episodes that he would like to do something like that.

  • The thing I love about Ricky Gervais is that he saw the brilliance in Karl. If it wasn’t for Ricky it’s likely that Karl wouldn’t have had such a successful career that brought a smile to millions.

    • Yep theres plenty of talent working on the radio stations back 20 years ago when he was discovered by ricky and steve. Steve used to work with a fella called rufus on his own radio show who was equally as funny in a different way, but just never got the same opportunity
