I talked to my teacher ( a fan of twenty one pilots) and i explained why i liked their songs, because of the interpretation of the meanings. Then I explained the songs, and she put me in Advanced English, because she thinks i can comprehend more literature and shit. Twenty One Pilots gets people better educations confirmed

Why do I feel like March to the sea is so beautiful, but no one really realizes it? It has such a deep meaning, and its so pure, the tune, the lyrics, Tyler sounding like hes going through puberty, everything. Its one of my favorites out of this abulm

Can I rant? I don't care what you say, I'm doing it anyway. Everyone thinks Twenty One Pilots is just "another emo band" but to some people, including myself, they have a lot of meaning. Tyler and Josh are an inspiration to many people, whether it's the songs that they make and perform, or the fact that they believe in their fans. I don't get the fans that praise Tyler and Josh like they are Gods, because guess what? They aren't. They are normal people, just like you and me. And to everyone saying that the new members of the clique are "fake fans" just because they only know Stressed Out and Ride, you're the fake fan. Real fans would introduce newer fans to different songs. No one is stopping you from shipping Joshler, but don't go hating on Jenna because she is "ruining your ship". Tyler and Jenna love each other and are happy, so stop trying to break them up, because it's not gonna happen. Have you heard Josh or Tyler say they weren't happy about how their lives are right now? I haven't. All I've heard is that they love each other (like I said before, in a best friend type of way) and that they love their fans. Just to say, I've been a twenty one pilots fan for almost two years now. I've listened to No Phun Intended, Regional at Best, Vessel, and Blurryface. I've been to a concert of theirs and it was purely amazing. It's my first time listening to Self-Titled now and I already started crying during Implicit Demand for Proof. EDIT: That moment when you realize you have 11 likes and it dawns on you that's the most you've had.
iiDatGurlOlly I totally understand. listening to their other albums just aren't the same . I think this one is so touching because it was like the first album. They weren't pressured into it. Now if you listen to Blurry face their most recent album, you can tell that it wasn't completely Tyler at all. He has even said in many interviews that he was pressured to write it. So anyway yes this album is amazing. Its my favorite album. And some can relate and some can't. Its because all people go through different things. And the broken people can just feel what Tyler talks about in his songs, even though the meaning is harder to know.
+Stuff Stuff *CAUTION: MAJOR RANTING AHEAD* Please do not hate on me, this is all coming from my heart. But I deeply love twenty one pilots and I couldn't stand life without them. Exactly. I believe the reason why Blurryface (and a little bit of Vessel, too) are so hard to interpret is _not_ because Tyler has become a better song writer. Sure, he has grown a heck of a ton but this isn't the reason. I think it's because Josh and he were so pressured into delivering their songs that it's become too hard to understand what they're trying to say. And I also feel like Blurryface has a more 'today' vibe, not the old twenty one pilots we know and love. And by 'today', I don't mean more electronic, though it has that too. I mean more like other songs we hear. It just sounds so forced. I feel like this comes out the most in Lane Boy. But, hey. That might just be me. Even though they're music in Blurryface is totally unique and so different from the things others produce even things they produce. I believe it's not as good as it could be. And, _yes_, I'm comparing it to their other albums. But I honestly love twenty one pilots with all my heart and none of this 'rant' is discriminating against them. I'm merely agreeing with someone else and not saying twenty one pilots suck. They're amazing artists and even better people who truly do it for fun and not the money and I swear to god I love them for everything they do. *Hold up... gee, this turned from a rant into a sentimental note REALLLLL quick..* heh that's all for today. peace.

We both decided to end our friendships on mutual terms, it’s OK to drop friends for the sake of your mental health, especially if it benefits them too. We’re both living happy lives despite the pandemic! This is a very personal album to anyone who comes across it, I cannot thank y’all enough for your kind thoughts. I truly do regret commenting what I did though, I was a lost kid & had nowhere else to vent besides KZhead comments lol. While I’m here remember you’re a beautiful soul, & try to find something in your day that is beautiful. I.e, snails are pretty common, and their shells are so intricate, somehow it’s beautiful. (ORIGINAL) I hope someone sees this. Im so.. upset. This whole album reminds me of a friend i had, she was beautiful inside and out, she loved life, she would always make jokes and make every little thing better. Her mom didnt like me though, she got mad at my friend and started to do bad things to her. Some nights she would call me, silently asking for help and i would talk her out of killing herself, other nights we would just talk about life and laugh and make fun of our friends. And one day she stopped calling, stopped texting.. And i dont know what happened, i dont know what i ever did, shes innocent, and she didnt deserve what she went through. I dont know if shes okay or if shes even alive. I cry thinking about her every day.

I'd listened to tøp a bit before, starting with when I heard Ride. Then Heathens became popular, then Ride did a lil and then, of course, Stressed Out. I'd tried listening to tøp a bit more before, but never really connected. My friend played Heavydirtysoul, Lane Boy, Polarize and Tear In My Heart at some point along the lines and I fell in love. I became obsessed with these few songs, which led to opening up to the rest of the band's albums and songs. Around this time, I also started going through some personal stuff. Having Tyler and Josh's music has really truly helped me to feel like I'm not alone, and like I'm understood. This fandom is full of some pretty great, caring people and I'm so glad that I've discovered Twenty One Pilots. To some they may be "mainstream" or "emo", which is why I never really thought I'd be into them. But their music is amazing beyond words if you really listen to the lyrics, and the beats are undeniably great!! Everything about this band I have fallen in love with, and I cannot thank Tyler and Josh enough for being such great human beings. They are the kinda people that the music industry needs to see more of!! Their music in my opinion is real. It helps people out. It saves us. (: Stay alive. |-/

I stumbled across Taco Bell Saga one day and was instantly obsessed with them! Ed Sheeran has a similar Fast Food Tribute song he recorded years ago, with the rapper Xample, called Nandos Skank!! It is freaking hilarious and made up on the spot after they had chicken (And a lot of beer) at a restaurant called Nandos. I feel like you do about Tyler and Josh...the world is just a better place with them in it! There's something about the lyrics, the music, their "realness" that is so wonderful and I'm a better person for having loved them. Seeing them in concert was Amazing and I'm forever grateful I got to experience it. i can't actually believe they are back. i've missed them too much. this is not just music, but it's something else. I remember when Stressed Out was very popular on the radio. I absolutely hated it. All of it. Then I realized that Twenty One Pilots were not just some bland pop band and I started to meet people who claimed that "their earlier stuff is way better" which is a common phrase in a lot of bandoms. I looked them up and took a listen. Best. Decision. Of. My. Life.

I agree with you, even thou Vessel is still very good, this has a more raw and strong feeling to it! As @Existent also said there's 4 (studio) albums: Twenty One Pilots; Regional At Best; Vessel and Blurryface. There's more albums, but they're either live albums or EPs!
I know but I only listen to three of them - Regional at Best only has a few different songs from Vessel, and I don't like them as much as the others :3 ( but I think I didn't know there were four albums at the time I wrote the comment )
I think it's a bit annoying that regional at best has tracks that vessel already has (or rather the other way around), but still, anathema, slowtown and ruby are some great songs if you ask me x3...

It’s mid winter. I woke up and was tired. I couldn’t get back to sleep no matter how hard I tried. I decided to listen to my favorite album by my favorite band. I had my earbuds in listening to this at full blast. Yes I survived Implicit Demand For Proof. I fell asleep around Ms Believer and woke up before Taxi Cab to a phone call. Wow. This album is like an hour-long lullaby.

They said they love Twenty One Pilots and that they are so good and how their FIRST ALBUM Blurryface is amazing. So then I corrected them and told them that that was their 3rd album counting Josh. Hey I joined the clique in 2015. I actually heard Tear in My heart fist, not Stressed Out like some people. I had never heard of them before, and I wanted to find out more about them so I bought Blurryface and LOVED it so then I got Vessel. And I knew about Self-titled and RAB, but I didn't know how to get them, so I waited until a new album would come. I waited and waited, memorizing all of Blurryface and Vessel in the meantime. AND THEN TRENCH DROPPED. It was beautiful, everything was working out, my anxiety was doing better ever since I had discovered Twenty One Pilots. And then I started listening to Self-Titled and RAB and NPI about 3 months ago, and life became even more beautiful. So no matter how long ago or how recently you've joined the Clique, how about we really, like Tyler once said: " Excuse us while we sing to the sky!". Because that would be beautiful. I think the only "fake" tøp fan is Justin Beiber. In a concert he said his favorite song was "that twenty one pilots song" and when someone said ride, he replied "no the other one" (This comment is a joke, but he did actually say that)

I've never really listened to Self Titled, mostly just their two newest albums, but my friend loves it. From the songs I've heard it's amazing, and I can see why it's a lot of people's favourites

Twenty one pilots has helped me so much. They've helped me feel better about myself. They've helped me ignore the fact that not that many people like me for being bi, listening to music in different languages, listening to music that's considered emo, and a lot more. Ok, maybe this will be seen and maybe it won't, but I'm curious about the artwork for this album. Does anyone else make connections between elements in this picture and other TOP songs *not* on this album? Like the tree house in the tree (Forest), the ceiling fan (Glowing Eyes), and the city skyline (I always think of the line in Glowing Eyes "We have romantic fantasies about what dying truly is, fall off the grid"), And the edges of the floor boards I remind me of Slowtown lyrics "I walk through my door just so I don't fall through the floor". But the figure of a man laying in bed I connect to Johnny Boy ("get up, Johnny Boy" lyrics) and Trapdoor. Anyone else have thoughts on this? I'd love the hear them. :)

I don't like listening to TOP all the time. It's special to me and helped me out of really dark times, so it feels almost blasphemous to listen to it when I'm in a good time in my life. I used to listen to them a few years ago, I lived for their music. But eventually I got better, my depression stopped becoming a staple in my life and I felt happier. Now I'm back, feeling really really down again. So down that I'm listening to TOP again. Eventually I will get better again, but I appreciate having TOP to help me out of dark times when I have them.
