This week SABC Elections 360 debates the heated battle for the soul of KwaZulu-Natal, live from Hambanathi Hall in Tongaat. On the panel are representatives from the ANC, IFP, DA, EFF and the MK Party.

🤫 🤫🤫🤫🤫 what are all parties did to help to build their own places all these years? But all of them have been given the opportunity to join the parliamentary candidates to show their leadership and management skills they did for the people of their districts and that would be easier for all parties who did the great work together with their communities in order to get lots of votes from the people of South Africa. It doesn't help to make some noise while the leaders of tomorrow have nothing to worry about except the money from the parliament and after that all of them will just keep quiet.

Chris Pappas had the best opening statement. This is the type of leader we need in parliament.
If DA doesn't give Papas his flowers then they are exactly what we think they are, I don't see any DA leader that can match him even Mmusi wasn't as effective in terms well spoken. They won't touch that oil. They thought they are clever. In SA, our law says you can buy the land and acquire title deed but you do not own the mineral resources that are under your ground. To prove my point. Government bought thousands of land hectors from white people and they willingly accept government offer knowing that there is coal/ gold, chrome, etc underneath. They knew mineral resources underground needs them to acquare Licence and mining rights which is costly. Those indians will be removed by government and pay them their money with current value. To those indians it was just an investment.

Last week 360 debate was very organised, people were not shouting when someone is talking, I am not sure what is happening now. There is no order, we need to TOLERATE each other.

SABC I've watched both of these long form "debates" / interviews - and honestly - the lack of control over the audience ruines this whole piece. We aren't interested in the audiences enthusiasm, we are interested in what the leaders have to say and how they will address issues put forward by the audience.
Having watched the very inspirational Arte tv Documentary about Mayor Chris Pappas ( 32) of uMmgeni Municipality and his Deputy Mayor , Sandile Mnikathi ( 28) on KZhead, the DA is by far the most progressive, the most compassionate and the most experienced choice to take SA and the Multi Party Charter forward in 2024!!

The complete overhaul of this system will be realized ekgcineni and thats our struggle, and indecisive forces should go clown ko MK. We are resolute, unshaken nor unperturbed by forces of the West.

The debate should be about the panel not the audience. At the end of the day we're here to listen to the noise from them. I think a debate without the audience will be better off, questions can be put through online. And with the short time allocated, a lot would have been discussed.
