Of course knee injuries totally changed his career for the worse. remember that he won fifa best player at only 20 when he wasn't in his prime yet. Just Imagine if those injuries didn't happen. I would choose R9 over messi and C. ronaldo every day. He was an original and a raw talent. He wasn't obsessed with individual accolades like C.ronaldo and messi. We will never see a player as humble as him again. Remember that he played in three world cup finals, a feat accomplished only by Pele.
