For all the sensationalism surrounding the events of Oct. 7, when Hamas broke through the Gaza fence and seized territory in the Gaza Envelope as part of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, there is still much that we do not know. The official Israeli death toll from the attack is estimated at 1,200 civilians, revised from an initial estimate of 1,400. Among this figure are several hundred civilians, which Israel says were killed by Hamas militants. Other testimony from survivors of Oct. 7 suggests an alternative explanation-that in its fervor to defeat Hamas, Israeli commanders may have willingly targeted and sacrificed Israeli soldiers and civilians in the crossfire. Let's be honest, the idea and Netanyahu do not care about their own hostages. Of course on TV they're going to say they care about the hostages but just think if Israel is blocking clean water, feel, electricity and medical supplies, that affects the hostages also. If they're blocking food and water what are the hostages going to eat and that's not even taking into account the bombings. Those hostages have to be somewhere in Gaza in one of those buildings or scattered around in different buildings so if they're bombing every other building they're most likely going to kill the hostages too and if the bombings don't kill him like I said no water no food no medical supply and no electricity is going to kill them then. But Netanyahu doesn't carry he'll just blame her mom's for it he'll say Hamas killed all their hostages but you got to use common sense. I have relatives in southern Israel and they have confirmed the atrocities committed by Hamas.
Unfortunately, there is no audience for the truth. When the massacre at Amritsar occurred in India and the British soldiers fired into the crowd, the British were outraged because it was carried by the news of the time. There were journalists and photographers present to record what happened. Furthermore, the British population was intelligent enough to digest the news and react to it. If Fascists control the flow of world media and protesters are arrested or fired from their jobs or otherwise persecuted, it will be a slim chance that affords us any justice in the future. I feel that these crimes will be like most of those by Stalin and Mao, largely unrecorded and unremembered and ripe for repetition.

I've listened to some testimonies from kibbutz residents stating Hamas treated them well and that the IDF went in firing their tanks and guns indiscriminately, no attempt at negotiations or finding out what people were where. I've seen footage of unarmed Palestinians in flip flops stealing motorbikes and tractors, with no interest in the people at all too.

On the 7th, there were no direct attacks on civilians, only collateral damage. Out of the 769 names on the Haaretz dataset, 462 were military personnel, including 55 soldiers, 13 privates, 59 corporals, 200 sergeants (45 of whom were sergeant majors), 48 commanders, 32 lieutenants, 5 lieutenant colonels, 6 colonels, 37 officers, 10 inspectors, 6 intendents, and 2 Lance Corp. This was a military defeat, and they are taking it out on the rest. Out of the 1148 total names, 403 were military personnel, 59 belonged to the police, and 668 were civilians. This means that the collateral damage on the 7th was lower than any of the iTf "mowing" operations, which has a ratio of 6:1. The ratio of civilians to military personnel killed on the 7th was 1.6:1, with 462 military personnel out of 1148 total. When including all casualties, not just deaths, the collateral damage ratio of the "mowing" operations is 162:1 and not "just" 6:1 based on analyzing UN OHC data from 2008 to 2022. A 162 :1 ratio means that for every 162 civillians, 1 military personnel is a casualty. The 7th had a ratio of 1.6:1, a hundred times lower. The reported (not all have their ages listed) ages of the victims are as follows: 0-4: 2 civilians 5-12: 8 civilians 13-17: 14 civilians 18-25: 132 civilians 26-40: 119 civilians 41-60: 55 civilians 61+: 40 civilians 18-25: 258 active duty military personnel 26-40: 60 active duty military personnel 41-60: 17 active duty military personnel 61+: 1 active duty military personnel

These facts need to be reported in the mainstream media. I had heard of the Hannibel Directive early on in this conflict. It seems as this order was given on October 7th. Yet, the general public has no idea of what's true and false info.
