I just realized that Michael Bay rhymes money with money like five times in a row, and then ends the rhyme scheme by saying "I don't give a fuck". Brilliant.

That's some lowkey Transformers reference there.
Motherfucking money
not to shit on your comment but rapping doesn’t have to just rhyme the end syllable. he does some internal rhyming to make it sound good like “set up shop, got a few drops, rose to the rock, now i got the socks” “got milk, socks made of silk”. internal rhyming is important to recognize otherwise you get idiots criticizing Lil Wayne for ending every line with the N word when in reality he’s still doing a fuck ton of rhyming.

@@Meccaofmanhood I was searching the list of highest grossing directors and only Spielberg made more than Bay in here. Spielberg is the highest grossing director followed by Cameron, the Russo Brothers and Peter Jackson with Bay coming in 5th ahead of people like Nolan, Tim Burton or Ridley Scott. Kubrick is the only one who took a while to get into the part where he actually raps, referencing how slowly-paced his movies are.
Ahaha im so glad another Kubrick nerd appreciated that

@@photonbee1932 Notice how Hitchcock has a slight nod when Kubrick is explaining his commitment to his creative vision, whilst the other directors seemingly wait impatiently. Hitchcock wanted every shot to be detailed and well executed, so he seems like he is impressed more than anything.
His slow buildup is my favorite part of this video. It looms over you, wanting you to properly prepare yourself for his presence.

I think it’s more in regards to his movies making tons of money at the box office. Spielberg has his own production studio, games, toy lines for movies, etc. He has his fingers in many pies. Basically in Micheal Bays eyes, reviews and rewards don’t mean shit, box office dollars do lol.

I just realized the reason Kubrick is on the moon is because conspiracy theorists say he was the director who was hired to fake the moon landing.
He also directed Space Odyssey
Brooooo. I didn't know he was connected to that theory. Wow, what a deep cut!
It is also said that if you were ask Kubrick to direct a fake moon landing, he would insist that it be filmed on location.
I always thought it was cuz he thinks he's above everyone else so they literally put him above the whole planet
You know how that conspiracy theory is not true? Because Kubrick is such stubborn flighty guy to work with he would have demanded the budget to actually launch into space and land on the moon to film it for authenticity.

notice in the very last line of tarantino’s verse, he raises his arms above the frame, and as he lowers them it cuts to black, much like someone closing the trunk of a car. this refers to how in every tarantino film there is a shot of the characters looking into the trunk of a car, with the camera’s position being inside the trunk. great job with all the tiny details from erb
I think this is one is my favourite one for sure! The details are great! Every time you re-watch hit you pick up a wee bit more. I never noticed how for example when Stan Kubrick is really slowly explaining his bit, Tarantino and Spielberg look really impatient but Hitchcock (also a famous over-perfectionist) is just like "yup, I agree!" haha! I fully expect that they would have gotten on.
The part with Michael Bay makes me really happy and i have no idea why
***** Probably :D
for me it's because Peter was fucking amazing as Bay. facial expressions and everything like that was perfect :D
TuMacca Indeed, my friend. He delivered perfectly
+Max Jackson that's maybe cause of the epic music. i love Bay's part it has great energy as well as badass rhymes!
Master Solaris Same here. It's radiant how positive Bay is
Stanley Kubrick looks like he’s trying to stop himself from crying
he is cause he saw michael bay's movies lol
Nicky Gloves he never would have allowed only one take.
its because how many takes he does
Me everyday
Disappointed Prion and sleeping
I have a severe addiction to this video. I can't stop watching it and constantly come back to it. It's the first thing I see when I wake up. Please help.
I feel you
Don't worry I'm with you

This remains one of my favorite ERB of all time, and i quote it endlessly. Something I don't see anyone mentioning is how every single verse is insulting Michael Bay until he shows up. Spielberg called him a schlep, Hitchcock indrectly insulted him by mentioning Transformers, which Bay directed, Tarantino mentioned sellout bullshit Bay would do, and Kubrick called TMNT a waste of potential. (Bay has a producer credit for that.)
The fact that Tarantino's verse wasn't written like he was actually trying to win but instead like he was just trying to shut the other 2 up makes his verse the best.
There is a 864:1 ratio here
To be fair, though, for a lot of people, the best Sam Jackson part is Nick Fury 😅
@@greghowell9986 mane shut yo goofy ass up 😭😭😭😭
@@greghowell9986 u mean his best role? No way its actually jules from pulp fiction

I bet they made the ERB series because of...... MOTHER FUCKING MONEY!
I make that dollar y'all !
MOTHER FUCKING MONEY !
even make Mark Wahlberg make some motherfucking money
I set up show got a few drops now I got milk money
Make some motherfucking money with a movie starring DONNIE Wahlberg, THEN I'll believe no director is your equal.
Tarentino only knowing 1 movie from Hitchcock sounds very unrealistic XD
When he said seen more blood in the shower that’s a reference to psycho 1960
@@nathanmifflin310 yes... I know
YO I just noticed how you incorporated one of the techniques that Kubrick created when you introduce his character looking into the camera. Okay, AMAZING. Best video you’ve ever made what the fuck. So many Easter Eggs for film nerds thank you 🙏
Can we PLEASE admire how perfect kubriks tricicle fits into tarantinos part????

@727loco I agree, Hitchcock's films may be dated, but there's no denying the impact and legacy he has
It wasn't a burn tho.
@@Sillimant_ Psycho is not dated. Still an amazing movie.
Man, I keep coming back to this one. It's just absolutely fantastic.
Stanley Kubrick is such a perfectionist that he insisted on being resurrected through necromancy to deliver his verse himself.
can confirm , i was the necromancer
How many necromancies did you do until he thought his simulacrum was good enough?
@@andrewwurth8998 Id say 128 times
Lol
@@tjrex9458 That's it? Man, he lost his touch.
Hitchcock and Tarantino easily had the best verses.
Agreed 100%!!!! I keep replaying their parts.
+Green Greens I think Kubrick's lack of movement was just as good. It shows how he directs... well, sort of in any case. It's like he's so intense that dancing isn't going to help.
+KASASpace I say kubrick won. he's on a tricycle in fucking space. the shining and space odyssey. you can't top that.
Personally, Bay and Kubrick were the worst
Dhart M Ahmed rap wise, yes, which is really what matters in these vieos. but movie wise. kubrick won. bad movie wise, bay killed it.
I always loved these epic rap battles where they have extra people beyond the ones in the thumbnail
Thank you ERB for helping me know what ambling means. I had a drumcondra test and I got a question right cuz of it
Can we just take a second to appreciate that the backing tracks are variations on each of the directors signature soundtrack styles yet they're blended together so seamlessly.
especially with Kubrick and Tarantino IMO
@Jaime Ivan Claros Cardozo Michael Bay's part gives me Lonely Island vibes
i can see tarantinos track just being in one of his films
Spielberg: adventure music Hitchcock: horror music Tarantino: dramatic sound effects Kubrick: space music Bay: ?
