  • I never got to try a reflex bag yet, i really want to try one out. One tip that really helped me years ago was when i was working partner drills i realized how much easier it was to slip and counter a shot you know is coming, and i realized by getting my opponent to throw certain punches i want them to throw by baiting ,forcing, or setting up punches that i know they will throw, made me better at slipping and countering. Also it got me out of the habit of waiting for certain punches for my opponenet to throw, cuz by waiting on him pits him one step ahead of me. But if i bait or force my opponent to throw what i want when i want puts me a step ahead of my opponent.

    • Very true. Underrated comment. By allowing only certain openings and angles, you force them what to throw and its easier to anticipate.

  • Ask a former amateur boxer, you dont need to spend alot of money to start learning boxing head movement, not all people is learning a boxing head movement just because they want to fight in the boxing ring, some people wants to learn boxing only for self defense and exercise, because boxing is a very good exercise specially to your bones, you will get strong bones everytime your punching. This is basic learn a head movement. 1. you only need is a boxing tie if you don't have a boxing tie just use any tie that having a color any color, and tie it strain from your wall then start practice a roll straightly imagine the tie in left and right is your opponent gloves so your hand is always keep up to protect you chin. 2. You need a used bottle water just put some a little bit water inside the bottle water, then tie the bottle water with any tie, then tie it on your scling that only exactly in your face head. Then move it forward then avoid it to land on your head and face, that's boring but its very effective you can create an own compatible head movement for you if you practice it many times, but alwaysly think that your body is balanced. 3. Try to 2 water bottle that same mechanics in 2 that I already said, one water bottle is forward and 1 is backward avoid it to land in your head and face. That's is my basic head movement, the punch combinations it's much easy to learn a combinations just watch some boxers and adopt punching combinations that you're comfortable to learn, if the gloves is your problem just only buy a cheap boxing gloves it's only 5 dollars to 10 dollars.

  • I believe if ur a beginner, ur lines of defense that you should learn are footwork and distance, hard blocking, then parrying, then mixing these two together, blocking or parrying while using your footwork, and then after ur super comfy doing that, then add some head movement as its very risky

Duran 70 KOs with ober 101 fights.! NOT to mention GGG had over 300 fights from NON pro ro pro ! Chavez SR record 89 wins NO losses! Now, who is Mayweather Floyd Jr with the POOR record?! Oh,. That one who RUNS in the ring instead of fighting! He is so BORING 🪴 ooo boring 🪴 🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴

    • Mayweather's record is not impressive because he cherry-picked for too long. Anyone that really knows boxing can see his accuracy and ability to adjust to other fighters' timing & movement is second to none.

      @DAA314@DAA3142 ай бұрын
    • What are talking about did you watch Floyd when he first started boxing ? No you didn’t even watch boxing. GGG was full middleweight and Floyd was could not go up that heavy. How about mentioning why GGG wanted to fight all the super middleweights except Andre Ward. Look who was scared GGG. Ward beat up GGG Russian teammate for the Gold medal and GGG knew he couldn’t beat him but wanted the smaller Floyd to fight him. Let’s not forget how Floyd dismantled Canelo and made him look like an amateur. Floyd was already past his prime. Your comments are just to hate on Floyd. By the way Chavez was great but Pernell beat the crap out of him and they robbed him.
