As a chameleon owner myself.. Throughout the video he clearly had a dark color, assuming he is extremely stressed out. Closing his eyes because he cannot even tolerate it anymore. The running up to the glass and glass surfing meant he wanted out and he wasn’t liking the position he was in. Another thing to note, that gravel or substrate should never be used for a chameleon, they risk digesting that and can easily die from it. My last addition is those big roaches and bugs, such as the super worm he had (or mario worm, unsure.) If he were to eat that he could regurgitate. And for that many roaches, insects of that many or such a large size, CAN kill a reptile. - EDIT - Also, as another comment read, which reminded me, there were no supplements such as vitamins or calcium, their food should be dusted to ensure they get what is needed.

I’ve had old world lizards in the past and running up to the glass means that the environment is too hot or it is in fear and trying to escape. In this case it’s safe to say escape.

I breed those species of roaches, and let me tell you..., they propagate like they’re going extinct! A buddy gave me about 50-100 of them as feeders, which I then moved to a larger bin(35 gallon tote) with egg crates and heating sources. Within a few months, under optimal conditions, I had 1000’s of them. Today, MILLIONS.

That substrate is seriously terrible for pretty much every animal that's featured. Lizards could eat it and get a bowel impaction and insects can't grip it and have trouble moving.

My dude, your chameleon's closing its eyes mid video. You stressed it to the point it couldn't tolerate it anymore. And no supplements? Chameleons need calcium dusting on their feeder insects, and if you're not giving it any, you're looking at some potentially serious health problems. See how little he can properly aim when it shoots its tongue out? And how it has to settle for crawling until it's right on top of the bug to chew it up? That's a vitamin a deficiency. Get yourself some repta-boost from Fluker's if you haven't already. Please, please, please educate yourself on how to properly care for your chameleon before it's too late.
Relax cockroaches have 468mg per 100 gram of calcium. A few roaches without dust is still a good amount of calcium. When chameleons are in nature random calcium dust does drop from the sky. All they eat are insects and the creator of this video put this chameleon in an chameleon heaven

Something else not pointed out by others is the fact that the branch isn't suitable at all for its feet, it can cause damage for them to stand on these for long duration, they need natural branches.

I would suggest for any future videos like this for lizards and other things, you make the substrate in the tank paper liner or some other smooth surface. Those pebbles or small objecst like them can become stuck within the lizards digestive track causing impaction. This is often fatal for most lizards if it happens.

Some of the " flop houses" or " room for rent" houses that I have lived in had literally at least tens of thousands, if not more. I had a constant earache,where they would crawl in your ear at night. I spent alot of money on spray,all they did was ran to another room n waited it out,so I decided to buy enough spray for everybody in the place...mann, those dang crack-heads took the spray back to the store n got thier money back,spent it on crack! The stones can easily kill this poor Chameleon if he eat them, and he does, because when he strikes at those roaches he not only shoots the roaches, but the stones too and in the end everything ends up in his mouth, including the stones and it is dangerous for the Chameleon. I know, because I have a one year old Panther Chameleon

To your knowledge if you left your chameleon with the 1000 crickets, theres a high chance that the crickets would eat the chameleon.
