    • It was very known in the 70's and 80's. But in 90's things started downward and the civil war made impossible for tourism in Algeria to flourish. The situation is gotten a lot better the last decade or so but the autorites don't measure the importance of tourism in the economy...

In Algeria the persons speak Arabic and Bereber,is very important the bereber architecture, however,I prefer the Persian architecture than Bereber architecture, I investigating about the history of Persian Empire,Iran,Irak,Afghanistan,Mongol Empire, history of the Indian Subcontinent and Pakistan. Algeria was colonized for Roman Empire in 146 B.C and it was called Numidia, after the Roman Empire fell, the Vándalos and Bizantine Empire invaded Algeria, however, didn't last long, because the Arabs invaded and conquest Algeria and it's become in a part of Muslim world, after, other empires and dynasties invaded Algeria, for example, Almoravids,Otoman Empire, but the most important Empire was the French Empire,it's began in 1830 and ended in 1962,in 1962,Algeria became in a republic. After the independence, Algeria suffered armed conflicts, terrorist attacks, and in 1990 the Algerian civil war began and it finished in 2002. In present Times,Algeria is very interesting for the roman archeological sites, beaches and natural spaces, is an Islamic country . Greetings from Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Terrorist attacks and the civil war only started in the 90's. I know I suggested it before, but I still think a video of my hometown, Washington, D.C., would be a great one for your channel (including the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, National Zoo, et al.) I think what reminded me was that so much of the architecture here in D.C. was influenced by Roman architecture as seen in ruins like these.
