I felt a great disturbance in the my finances, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced
wallets are on fire
Martha, we're cancelling vacations this summer. No money left.
Well if it helps I bought a sword today as well
@@tods_workshopwhy do you buy swords when you can make one for yourself when you got extra time? I know i became a bladesmith partly for that exact reason 😂 (also seeing a customer's eyes brighten as they see whay they're getting is so rewarding)
woohoo!
It's funny how Shadiversity made a big video about how hard it is to get historical falchions just before you released a whole batch of them.
The Sword Realm provides!
I wouldnt know. I dont watch shad 😎
@@DETHMOKILwell seeing as you read the original comment, you actually _do_ know 😏😜
Shad doesnt know half of what you think he does.
@@alericc1889don’t we all…
Never enjoyed an ad so much before 😆. Love all your work.
I thought the same! He doesn't have to try hard, though. Stop drilling,Todd! Ya, already hit oil!
Thanls guys, very generous and a chuckle as well - thanks
This is the best commercial I have ever watched and chose to continue it to the end. Big companies need to learn from this. Build your audience so those watching WANT to be here. Cheers.👍
Love your gusto around what you do Tod,not to mention a childlike sense of fun and enthusiasm=great results, great videos.
Had a chance to peek around at Skirmish last weekend, what absolute beauties! That falchion just makes you want to go cut the world in half, what an amazing blade shape!
Thanks and good to see you and to be there - for those that don't know it is one of two Schola Gladiatoria (Matt and Lucy Easton) training weekends
Ooh, those swords look mint. The models did a great job of displaying the rigs without interupting Tod's flow.
absurdly good value. can't believe they come with a scabbard for the price.
Todcutler is not the historically accurate, good performing, affordable range of historic replicas we deserve, but it is the one we need. You are doing the Lords work with todcutler, simply brilliant stuff. (The only thing we need now is a todcutler crossbow line, but that might be me dreaming)
I mean, if there’s enough market demand for him to find a way to make them he will probably find a way to do it if only because a he would probably like to find a way to make the crossbows a little bit cheaper but also for the obvious reason, the more people who buy his stuff the more extravagant, interesting experimental archaeology he can do basically through our purchases refund his experiments as a medievil mad scientist
"What the hell was all that about?" "Let's never talk about this again." "He touched my sword..." Will be their conversation after Tod sends them back into history.

Bloody hell, Tod. If I were a halfway wealthy man (and I'm not knocking the incredible price point, here), I'd have bought all four of these before posting this comment. It's like you've been surfing the algorithms to work out specifically what I want to see made. Well done for your consistently fantastic work, for the ever excellent KZhead content, and for keeping my wallet in constant peril.
$700 for a sharp, short arming sword that is proper to teh time period is a very good deal I think.
And with scabbard! You can pay that for a scabbard alone.
Ive been saving for your 16th Century German Bastard Sword. I will be placing my order soon as way to celebrate finishing my merical program. I really love your work.
Will you be taking your Bastard Sword on Rounds with you, when you start doctoring?
Outstanding! Especially like you’ve done the Wakefield with the intact sidebar👌
Very cool! I absolutely love that Roses falchion
Wishing you every success with your new line of Tod Cutler swords! Quality, authenticity, and good workmanship, incarnate!,
My Wakefield hanger arrived today (two months earlier than expected). Really happy with it.
I'm so excited! I'm going to see what I can use in my HEMAish group.
That type 14 is very tempting
Yeah the type 14 is one of my favorite designs of all time, very cool
Seb was a perfect model.
The return of Hob of the Jaunty Hat Bois from the swordbreaker vid!
I had a piece of beauty -a rondel dagger from Todd Cutler - for my birthday this past weekend. It's an absolute pleasure to handle and to look at.
I don't do hema and have never owned a sword in my life but that clip point falchion 👌
I can't wait for Matt Easton to get his hands on some of these beautiful examples to see them used properly. 👍👍
Beautiful work!
Lovely swords and falchions with a wood cored scabbard for this price is absolutely brilliant!
So beautiful very exciting !!!
Damn they look gorgeous.
These are so cool and your friends did such a good job modeling!
Beautiful pieces!
Outstanding work by the models
Thank you for your work.
Ordered a Wakefield hanger today, actually in stock, with the green scabbard even! Such a beautiful blade; a unique and uniquely English sword...
Whooooo! Tod, you are doing great things. Love it.
Beautiful work, Tod👍
We've put in an order for a Wakefield hanger. I asked my wife (thinking she'd say no) and she pretty much ordered me to get it on account of how much having one will cheer me up. I've been collecting for 20 years, and I can honestly say that your stuff is the best I've ever owned.
Awesome, those are beautiful. Cheers!
I love short swords too, especially falchions. Would love to start a nice collection soon
Awesome Introductions, very precise and to the point, and of course completed with visual historical mates. My favorite is the War of the Roses too, because of the guard!
Gorgeous swords!
And just when you thought you were done with your sword collection, a wild Tod appears with an absolutely gorgeous Type XIV! I wannit!! 😀👍🏼
LOVE that type 14 alot! cannot wait to see your longswords in the future
Todd, I would love to see more videos of you making things. A video of you making those swords would be awesome.
Beautiful work
Those swords look lovely. Right now I'm armchair only but for future reference, are the Wakefield hanger and the German Grossemesser available in left-handed versions?
I would recommend just emailing him as you approach being able to purchase. He's very flexible in the work he can do.
Thank you - I just emailed to ask the same thing
Can't wait to get my hands on one, so excited!
Amazing work. You are a talented artist.
Beautiful stuff!
Wow. Just wow. These look awesome.
They all look fantastic. I snagged the messer and can't wait to get a hold of it!
Beautiful gear.
God Tod, why do this to me?! "I'll buy a dagger every now and then from Tod", I said to myself. "He can't tempt me with swords because there's no way I can afford his fancy stuff". Now you come out with an affordable Wakefield Hanger AND a Grosses Messer? Bloody hell. I'll have to save up and get them both, though the Messer will be for my wife. She's always had an absurd fascination with the-swords-who-are-knives. Glorious work as always. You are by far my favourite smith.
type 14 is my fav - there's something beautiful in all practicality it brings ;)
Amazingly beautiful 👍
Oh wow, excellent work, very excited for these! I wish there was a left handed option for the Wakefield hangar... I always have trouble finding complex hilted swords that accommodate my left handedness
You're killing me Tod, these are gorgeous, and the scabbards and harnessing as well. Sadly, a little out of my range right now, but I'm looking forward to picking one once I've saved up a bit.
Been waiting for these. I'll have to get something to match my Todd Cutler dagger
Love your stuff dude! Great work 🤘🤘
Beautiful swords.
I don't normally watch ads, but Tod is definitely an exception. That Wakefield hanger is fascinating.
These look great Tod, great work!
They look fantastic!
Thanks ❣️
Finally. Will definitely buy one soon
Hello Tod! (I am Austrian (so my mother tongue is (a version of) german)). I think, you got the name of the last one wrong: starting at 4:06 you wrote “German Grossemesser”. It would be “Großes Messer” or, may be, “Großmesser” (no “e”) (and s-z-ligatur “ß”) I suppose. Thank you for all your videos full of information and tests! Greetings from the south of Austria, Kalten
Great models for very nice looking swords! Hobb is looking smashing as usual
Beautiful short swords.
Fantastic!
OUTSTANDING!
Awesome job Tod!! I can't wait to purchase one or more of these beauties. I love the two daggers I own from your inventory. I hope these will be available through Kult of Aethna. Again, can't wait!
Love this.
So excited!
Well done to Tod and the team historically accurate practical swords and scabbards at affordable prices
Bloody awesome
Any tips on how best to sharpen these properly for cutting practice?
They look absolutely spectacular, I have a few of the Tod Cutler daggers and never regretted it (big thanks for offering a left handed messer). Those in particular are a bit late for me, but I might find it hard to resist.
Oh, I didn't know he made those. I hope the grosse messer sells well enough to get a left-handed version too, I'd find that very tempting indeed.
So very exciting!
God man, that Messer is everything I've been waiting for in a production piece!
Those look awesome!
Just pre-ordered a type XIV in green!!! Wowow
>Tod : "tod cutler swords have arrived at last!" >all of us with our wallets out ready to be emptied : "Lol, no they haven't" >Instantly depletes the stock
Those are very classy blades for sure.
Amazing!!!
Don't like falchions or similar sword styles much *personally* but *do* love the work you've put into all of them in terms of the details, great job
That clip point Falchion is absolutely beautiful
They are beautiful but that Wakefield hanger is stunning. Excellent work Tod.
armor and clothes are so good 😍
Awesome! I'd love a messer and, eventually a kriegs-messer. Also I'm looking forward to a solid longsword and two-hander.
Looking good models!😉
What I’ve been hoping for for a long time
Definitely something I'll keep in my mind next time I wanna treat myself.
you need to make a companion dagger to that arming sword
My Christmas wish list just got way more exciting
Please do a type XVI They're so lovely when done well!
I too am a lover of short swords. My long arms help. Just ordered the knuckle bow WOTR Wakefield hanger. So pretty, it made my eyes hurt. Gonna do some cutting. Will compare with LK Chen Ribaldo, and a couple more I have on order. Big cutting fest on my birthday at end of September I hope... Can't wait.
I fell in love with 3rd one. If you've ever messed around with any sword play, the hands are very vulnerable. Having a basket type hand guard of any kind is definitely necessary.
Brillant idea ! Would love to see a munition type XV like that one day
The Messer looks amazing!
Oh mand I've excited for these.
Nice to meet you today at Tewkesbury! Wish we could have talked more. Very happy with the little knife I bought, still thinking about that clip point, looked even better in real life!
Thanks for coming
