  • 1981 85% of Chinese people lived in poverty, in 2015 just 6% of Chinese people lived in poverty. China now has the biggest economy, some of the best technology, one of the strongest defence forces, it's people are better paid/better fed/better housed/stronger and fitter than any other time in the history of China. The Chinese can build some of the best products in the world. Skyscrapers/bridges/IT/biotechnology/space exploration equipment/automobiles/renewable energy sources/etc etc. they have more millionaires and billionaires than most other countries and are the biggest lender of money to the rest of the world. anyone who criticises China should have a look at how well they have done and compare their own nation's achievements. China has finally recovered it's original status as one of the leaders of the world.

    • @@chaosXP3RT marching in parades is basic military discipline and the Americans do it too. The most notable American military parade being the one commemorating desert storm and the gulf war. Marching requires serious discipline especially in the way the Chinese do it. Even soldiers can't march, then thats a pretty pathetic army

The United States invaded Afghanistan because they refused to exhibit the leader of Al-Quad. On top of this, Afghanistan was ruled by multiple terrorist organizations linked to the American attack. The United States imposed sanctions on Iran for nuclear threats against American ally Israel, and as well threatened to construct a nuclear bomb to strike the United States itself.

    • +Joseph Stalin Uncle Joe I think we invaded Iraq because a majority of our government was neoconservative at the time and wanted to engage in state-building activities. Saddam was a product of American foreign policy, but he stopped cooperating. We invaded Afghanistan because it was ruled by said terrorist organizations which were believed to be harboring Al-Qaeda which perpetrated the 9/11 attacks.

    • StudyinSteel you forgot to mention how the US was expected to pay for the invasions. Oil and Natural resources were the spoils of war gave great incentive for the military operations.

    • kevin1974 That's not true. We did not gain natural resources from the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq. If we wanted to take oil by force we would have annexed Saudi Arabia
