China showed off its newest missiles, including a nuclear-capable one, in its biggest ever military parade in Tiananmen Square to mark 70 years since its founding. President Xi Jinping said in an address that "no force" can shake the foundation of the nation. cna.asia/2n1GSY9

    • Because beautifully organized marches like these show what you can achieve under one flag. Chinese and Russian marches show that no matter what, you and your countrymen will always have something in common and something to fight for, whether it's through military, economics, or philosophy. As an eastern Ukrainian which grew up in Germany, it makes me prouder of Russia and China than my own countries, which abolished every form patriotic thought.

  • China was a struggling 3rd world less than 70 years ago. With over a billion population. I find their rise to prominence very amazing. I can only imagine how hard it must be to manage a country with nearly 1.5 billion people. You have to admit, China is not like the rest of the world.

The revival of a country with a population of 1.4 billion will weaken their prestige and plunder their resources. The shift to India, with a population of 1.3 billion, will be the same. China will be an ally of the United States, and the border conflict will be blamed by Western media for any problem.
