Changing the old shut off valve for a new isolator the customer can turn off themselves! To comply with regs a non return valve should be fitted so that needs to be cut in after as I didn’t have one.
New shut off onto the incoming main and a drain off so the house line can be drained.
Aquabion water filter fitted to help protect the house from limescale. Couldn’t fit a water softener so this was the next best thing!
Press fittings used as it was just faster and more efficient way and keeping the pipework nice and clean!
Enjoy the plumbing asmr on this video I really enjoyed making it!
Sorry if you have already said this but what drill pipe cleaner was that mate?
Nice toys! I especially like the ratcheting crescent wrench. Nice find.
It’s a 👍🏻 and a subscribe from me, I’ve been a commercial plumber/gas engineer for 20+ years and I enjoy someone taking pride in their work even on small jobs
I love that mini press tool. 💙 T.E.N.
I like that bag that you use to catch the water, I have never seen one anywhere. The pipe cleaner was also a nice tool.
First vid I’ve seen of yours without pipe bending!
I fitted one of these full bore valves last month as my 80yo main stopcock had seized up. Personally I think they make a huge difference in terms of the flow rate as they are full bore and less likely to get gunked up unlike traditional stopcocks. Nice one!
That’s my view on them mate! 👊👊
I cleaned up the decades old labyrinth of piping in our cupboard and replaced all stopcocks with full bore versions. It made a noticeable difference in pressure and flow rate. Our electric shower no long shuts off because of low pressure when the washing machine fills.
@@johnwellbelove148any water hammer after the increase in pressure? 🤔
@@zam1007 There were no issues at all.
@@zam1007 Pressure doesn't increase will full bore. Only flow.
Nice work
Nice work !
Thanks ginola!
You do some nice work bro, but I’m sure some won’t agree 😂
Thanks dude really appreciate it!
Look at the state of those walls ffs!!🙄
Nice work…😮😮 What kind of clamps are those…?? Thx…..👍🏻
Is the Novopress still your go to or would you recommend other brands as cant make my mind up which to chose
Another great vid mate, don't use press fit myself but looks a whole lot stress free. Can I just ask if you have a link for the rectangular plumbing tub that looks very useful. Cheers Rob.
Yeah it has its places for sure! If you good derblaue folding tub you will find it. Plumbingforless has them in the uk
@@mmplumber Thankyou mate, appreciate.
I love that pipe cleaner, i know people have asked but can you repeat please where you buy it
Hi Mate From where do you get these pipe clips? They look deeper than Talon ones Great job 👍
What size is the wera self adjustable does it do 22mm nuts aswell
Hi you did a short vid of wiring a immersion element the other day..any chance of a more detailed talk through of the subject inc the tools you used...thanks
Hey I just used a knipex tool for cutting and stripping cable, then some crimps and crimper on Amazon 👊👌
Do you have links for the tools you used ?
I'm not a plumber, why do you use marker pen on the pipes before clamping them?
Отличная работа! Подскажите пожалуйста название самозажимного ключа.
Nice plumbing work! I do enjoy watching different tradesmen doing some decent quality workmanship, well done 👏🏻 👍🏻. I won’t talk about the main equipotential bonding though,(the green/yellow cables. (It’s not technically correct) 🫣😊
Love your work bro What’s the size of that joker And what’s the name of that tool you use to remove the compression ring Pls and than you 💪🏾
Joker xl for 15mm compression and that’s a Oliver cutter from monument
Thanks for watching pal appreciate it trust
What's the name of that quick wrench?
Link to Pipe cleaner for drill
Master blaster
What’s the name of that water bag? That’s the cats ass!
Derblaue folding bucket
im tempted to buy one of those wera joker wrenches. will the XXL do 15mm & 22mm compression fittings ?
It will but it’s a big boy
I got the xl and I don’t think my adjustable has seen the light of day since, the xxl is just too big for what I do
@@stevegeraghty Yeah, the XXL is big but it does 15mm & 22mm compression fittings. I assume that you can only use the XL for 15mm compression fittings, can you confirm ?
So the xl won’t do 22mm, I just use it on 15, if you have loads of space around the fitting the xxxl will work but you are never going to fit it underneath a bath or any tight space
@@stevegeraghty Ok, thanks for the clarification.
Nice job , how much to charge for job like that plz
102 quid for a bucket I'd rather wait for it to evaporate
I meant a whole job price !
@@no-ic3rgit’s about 70 🤣
3 hours work plus materials
А зачем он перед тем как обижать маркером отмечает?
God I hate them crimp fitting
They are perfectly fine. 50 year warranty. The copper compression does the sealing, the o ring is just backup. Fast and efficient, no messing around with smoke alarms or inhaling fumes. Get more jobs done faster, more money, happy customers. Get with the times, this is how its done now.
Why all the copper compression fittings when you have a pro press? Why don’t you just use male adapters? I’d sleep better with no compression fittings
What’s wrong with compression fittings exactly? I have never seen a domestic UK plumber fit a valve with pro press ends, more than likely because they don’t exist in the UK or they are extremely rare to get ahold of and expensive. Push fit valves are a similar alternative but personally I would rather steer clear of any fitting that relies on rubber O rings to do the sealing. At least with compression you know that once you tighten the nuts up the olives get squashed into the tapers of the fitting and grip the pipe well.
We don’t have press valves that easily where I am
I like press but great to have a joint you can remove
Hello, Where to buy tube cleaner brush?
Wait some time and I’ll have a link, I’ll do a few videos on the new version I’m out in a week or so
What's with marking each tube before pressing?
Its a requirement for press fittings to ensure enough pipe was inserted inside the fitting prior to press.@@paulknight410
I think so you know they haven't slipped out?@paulknight410
Класс!
Not my line of work but interesting. I'd really like to know more about that ratchet like pipe wrench if anyone knows please hit me up.
Wera Joker
Why does he mark pipe with marker when he ain’t taking out?
I gues to see if the fitting is in the same position before and after pressing, me think
@@lukaszskor5973 makes sense thanks mate
