My two most memorable visits to Ireland matches were, first, 1972 when Roger Pullin’s England team “turned up” the year after Wales and Scotland didn’t, that was huge, never seen a reception like it, and second, England at Croke. Never felt an atmosphere like it. Huge respect, bags of emotion.
