Very rusty WW1 pickaxe restoration. I found this pickaxe in the forest at the site of a WWI military camp. This is the Austro-Hungarian pickaxe of the First World War. The pickaxe was very rusty. I decided to restore an old rusty pickaxe. I removed the rust, made a new handle and preserved the old iron. I hope you liked my restoration.

Love the box of rusty tools waiting to be restored
REAL RUST, no like the most of KZhead restorer videos
I personally find most of the objects that I restore with a metal detector.
Specifically AA hands
I love when he was looking through that box of scrap and there was just a random mosin nagaunt bolt in there❤
Amazing Restoration 👍🏻👍🏽👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks!
Excellent over so many fake restorers. I love the bolts with the original form without simulate that are old
thank you!
Incredible work hello from the U.S.A 🇺🇸
Hello 👋
Some people are really unconscious when it comes to the genesis of these items found in the ground. The owner of this channel is European. The grounds in Europe are littered with post war debris. After two world wars happening mostly on European territory, you can find not only old weapons but old daily objects that people left behind in a hurry to escape. These items will not just evaporate, they sink into the ground, as the surface of the earth erodes with rainfall etc. When my family and I were digging up the ground in the garden to make a fish pond, we found plenty of glass and small metal objects. Nothing that spectacular in our case, because it was too close to the town center, but it's completely normal to find metal in the ground. People need to get a reality check. Old solid metal objects dont decompose that easily, it takes centuries, sometimes longer with the right atmospheric conditions.
Another gem of a restoration project!!! You make it look so easy!!! I think you found that pick axe with a metal detector… It was tough to see what you had there. It looked like a piece of scrap metal!!! Good eye for seeing what it could become!!! Great skills on display again!! Thanks for sharing your video with us!!
Thank you! Yes, I found the pickaxe with a metal detector. Most of my restorations are personal finds)
Great work. Making history come alive again. Greetings from Australia.❤
Hi mister beautiful restoration good job well done
Once again, great job.
Beautiful… 🤩
Such a great restoration ☺☺
Nice and neatly
Be careful with electrolysis you don’t want the sacrificial metal to be stainless.
Better than chrome.
Beautiful job, very well done!!
Sempre più spettacolare il restauro !!!! Sei unico !!!! Ti ammiro moltissimo !!!!
I love watching these... you are a perfectionist for sure...

What do you do with all that rust? Any proyect plan about it?
Another great restoration😮 Congratulations👏👏 Greetings from Belgium 😉🇧🇪👋
Super
well done - q: what are you doing with the restorated pieces?
Some I give to the museum, some I leave in the collection
Not that it would last one hit in the ground, but very nice piece of art as a decoration! It can be hanged on a wall and just look amazing.
Why wouldn't it? Still too damaged I figure?
Parabéns do Brasil
👍👏💪
Nossa muito satisfatório ver tirando as ferrugens🇧🇷🤤
We're do you find all these things?
I find most of these things with a metal detector. Here is the channel on which I show it www.youtube.com/@ArtifactDigger
Wwoooww so fun
Wer do you get the stuff
❤
It's not a pick axe, it's a pick mattock. A digging tool... Get it? Sappers DIG to undermine walls & buildings...
🎉🎉🎉
Why don't you just sand blast it?
💙💛
Your specialty is not restoration, it's aging. you do a very good job things look old.
I do not agree) I restore old items that I personally found with a metal detector. They are valuable to me because they are history
Kirain barang purbakala ternyata sejenis cangkul
Not finished yet
it is actually called a pick-matic
too rusty to be restored. it wont hold if you want to use it like its first day. its used just for decoration. but nice job.
😢
👍👍👍🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
If you are going to fake stuff at least don't make it obvious that was dried on mud not rust
This pickaxe lay underground for at least 105 years)
O boy wasn't that ugliest restoration or what. My friend you could spent may be 2 or 3 hours and fill all the holes with welding then I would be able to give you a thumbs up

Looks like fake rust. 😂😉
He has a channel that shows the dig sites where he finds the stuff. This is real
