Hey guys back again. Today I go straight to the scrap yard and grab 3 electric motors to Melt down as I haven't done a motor melt for ages. Also ill show the Big Boy i got craned in for my 1 million sub Melt. Its a 465KG or 1023LB electric Motor , Now this could take a while for me to break down and melt during my hectic schedule but i guarantee it wont effect my weekly Friday vids .Now Sit back relax and check out todays video and ill see all you beautiful people next Friday😁..
Feel like supporting the channel it wont cost you a cent as you can Simply just donate some of your time. By just by allowing the ads to play through this will help out a lot and that’s how I make a bit extra revenue and the good thing is more revenue means more giveaways and more treats for the dogs👊🏻😄. A better way to support the channel is play one of my playlists on your computer before you walk away from it and let it play through that really helps as well but don’t ever feel as though you need to watch the ads if you don’t want to simply skip them and move into the video it’s completely up to you and I understand if you don’t have the time to do so👌🏻and like I always say if you like the rings shown and used in this video be sure to check out the description where you can get 20% off the already discounted rings using my code and if you want to try your hand at melting yourself you can buy the burner on its own or the whole furnace set up and I can organize a 5% link for you off the total furnace price just email me on bigstackddddd@mail.com 😁👍🏻.

HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it??????.

  • I used to work in mining, as I think back on the amount of scrap copper cable and electric motors that were buried in a pit; it breaks my heart to know what a fortune of scrap copper and aluminum was just tossed away and wasted.... I'm sure I could have easily melted every day for a year and still only have made a dent in what was there. Oh I forgot there was also tonnes of brass liners that we used in our crushers that were also wasted. And the sad part is many of us knew the potential of what was being wasted and asked to retrieve it for recycling and were flat out denied with no explanation... So sad.

    @xman870096@xman8700962 жыл бұрын
    • @Joe Mama You're lucky to have friends like that; the Mine I worked at would just as soon fire you than see you take home what they threw away. What they tossed away would have literally set me up with a nice retirement fund if they'd allowed me to recycle their junk, as I said, so sad.....

  • Hey Bigstackd, just a heads up, you're getting close to finishing your 1 tonne goal, that big motor will put you really close. Part of the allure of watching your channel is the desire to see that goal met. So when you do, people might become less interested in the videos since they're satisfied you reached it. Make sure you have a new goal following immediately after you meet that one so people will still be drawn in. You def want to put the new goal in the same video you hit the old one or sooner! Also probably best to not set the goal to a higher weight otherwise it feels like the finish line is moving. Anyway, just want to give a heads up so you don't lose any views! Really excited for that massive motor!

    @Hooptyroo@Hooptyroo2 жыл бұрын
    • There’s really no end goal buddy , this is something I do on my days off for a bit of fun and relaxation in the garage with a few cold beers. Once the bars have been poured I chuck the headphones on and zone out while I sand cut and clean it all up and go into my own little world away from the worries of this crazy real world We are all currently living in. I started this channel years ago as a hobby so I didn’t care if it cost me a few dollars here and there and that’s why I started to stockpile my pieces and never sell them. But now I’m making money with KZhead ads So it’s good to get a bit back, but one thing I promised myself I would never be a sell out like every other bloody channel and have a stupid sponsor that promotes crap I would never use and don’t care about. I’m not sponsored by anybody and never have and I’m quite happy to show off the devil forge brand as that’s my mates company and he built that with his partner from the ground up to where it is today so I’m happy to advertise for free for him as it’s a product Everyone can rely on. Devil forge has not payed me one penny to advertise for them I do it because I love the furnaces 👌🏻. And when I get things from the scrapyard the guys that work there are subscribers and they make sure I have free reign to look around but they still will charge me $2 a kilo on anything I grab. anyway guys have a great weekend I’m gonna hit the hay as the scrapyard opens in five hours and I need to go down and have a look. Even if I don’t buy anything it’s always good to check out if there’s something weird I can melt👊🏻😁

  • I imagine melting all of your 1k motor will take some time as well. Does Devil Forge make a MEGA size?

  • About that pink unicorn notebook - you could write down how much did you pay for those materials that you are melting, or in special occasions - how much gas it cost also, then you can show if you earn anything from that melting stuff.

    @devilio@devilio2 жыл бұрын
    • I agree, I always wonder how much the material costs at the scrap yard. I always also wonder about the overall time it takes to do a melt. I have seen some timing and it does not seem like a long time, maybe 20 minutes for doing copper and less for aluminum.

  • This is a cinematic masterpiece! I can’t even imagine how many video files this consists of. It has to be close to 1,000!? That’s got to take an insane amount of effort to review and edit all of them and put them into a chronological order. What’s the typical total file size for all the clips that you shoot to produce a video like this? I’m thinking like.. 25GB??
