Etho saying “skill issue” is somehow both the most Etho thing he could possibly say and also the most unexpected out of pocket phrase he could ever utter
this was brought up in a tango stream and grian clarified that etho didnt actually say "skill issue". he gave grian some advice and grian just interpreted it that way cause he was frustrated with how bad he was doing lol
Could of sworn he actually did say the precise words "skill issue" too, though idk if it was to Grain.
What do people mean by "out of pocket"?
@@Chigger generally it means outside of social expectations

well, judging by the on-stream reaction to people saying that's pretty mean of etho to say, he was more giving very helpful and polite advice on how to get out safely at the end of a run, which grian very concisely cut down to "so what you're saying is i just need to get good"
Grian mentioned elsewhere that Etho said something much nicer in the vein of "you need to focus more on x" or "or yeah, don't forget to do y", but Grian is interpreting that as "skill issue lol git gud".

Tall Birch are still only naturally spawning and only in the "Old Growth" forest biome. You could make random 3-5 tall pillars of dirt to grow some of your saplings on, then just replace it with birch logs to get similar effect. :)
The fact that Tango first reaction was to treat them like Toddlers.
Howdy everybody, avid mooshroom farmer here! The last time I used this feature, the brown mooshroom had the effect for a short period of time in which you could milk it, this could be wrong but as long as the mooshroom has a particle effect it should give the suspicious stew you want. But yeah, pretty much any flower works! For example cornflowers do blindness, wither roses do a very very short burst of withering, and yes it does infact need to be brown, red mooshroom can't produce suspicious stew. Hope people enjoy this in depth look at mooshroom stew production!
Its been a minute since I did this, but IIRC yes as long as the mooshroom is *emitting* particles, you should be able to get a bowl of sussy stew.
By any chance are you from nashville tennesse /lh
@kiwibuddy5341 nope, I just over obsess easily.
Can’t you just craft the dandelion into the suspicious stew or do you need the mooshroom?

For those who dont know The crafting recipe for suspicious stew is one of each mushroom, a flower and a bowl Depending on the flower, the effect changes
🟡 Dandelion (+ Blue Orchids) for Saturation 🔵 Cornflower for Jump Boost 🔴 Poppy (+ Torchflower) for Night Vision ⚪ Daisy for Regeneration 🟣 Allium for Fire Resistance Every other one is bad ( all the Tulips (weakness), Azure Bluet (blindness), Whiter Rose (wither), Lily of the Valley (poison))
And, the flower to use is the same for the recipe for sus stew... effects wise.
Pseudo-potions?
@@Crow_ferret Poison makes sense for Lily of the Valley, Lilies are very poisonous
Unless you are on bedrock, in which case you need to feed a brown mooshroom the flower then milk it...
They actually give better than the max level of saturation, they give you a potion effect which continuously gives you saturation for a couple seconds, meaning it gives you max saturation and a couple seconds where it cannot decay because it is continuously giving you max saturation
I like that the birch trees closer to Grian's base, the ones that he's planted, are a bit shorter than the rest of the natural Old Growth Birch Forest he's next to. Honestly it lends itself to the realism angle a bit, thinning the forest down and out as we come to the cliffsides of Grian's and Mumbo's areas.

Hahaha yeah I was also in Tango's stream and of al the things I was imagining, this wasn't one of them 😂
The exact science of the Brown Mooshrooms: When you feed a brown mooshroom a small flower, the next time it is milked with a bowl it will produce suspicious stew. There is no time limit on this stew, but production limit of one feeding = one stew. The next time you milk it, it will revert to mushroom stew until it is fed again. The type of flower equals the type of effect with the stew. You are searching for the saturation effect, which can be made with dandelions and blue orchids. Other possible effects include: Fire resistance - Allium Blindness - Azure Bluet Jump Boost - Cornflower Poison - Lily of the Valley Regeneration - Oxeye Daisy Night Vision - Poppy or Torchflower Weakness - Tulips Wither - Wither Rose
I love how Tango just plays along 😂

About those birch trees, the biome is (from what i can tell) a tall birch forest, so ye the natual trees are taller, you could try planting your birtlch saplings on a dirt block 2-4 blocks in the air then filling in the space below them once they grow for a more natual feeling.
Watching with captions on. I noticed you had Tango labeled as [TONGO] when you said "Tongo". That tiny detail is one thing I love about your videos!

A much easier way to get the suspicious stew you need is the different mushrooms for a mushroom stew and add the flower of your choice (in this case a dandelion) when crafting, its very handy early game knowledge that i use all the time when playing survival. You don’t need the mooshroom cows! 😂
Oh yeah I do this too!
A cow is much more efficient though if you want large scale stew production. Else you'd need to build both a mushroom farm and a flower farm in the right biome to get dandelions.
@@TheMrVengeance oh yeah thats an excellent point. Though you still probably need the flower farm for large scale stew production using a cow. It definitely cuts out the mushroom part though. That seems like an ideal method for a shop or something since there's way less resource gathering required. I usually use this trick more in early game, usually before I have a trident and mooshroom biome. I also tend to use it as a supplementary food source so it's fairly easy to collect enough dandelions and mushrooms. It's also easy to carry with me adventuring or to put in my enderchest because the ingredients can stack. It seems like there's a lot of pros and cons for each method depending on what specifically you need the stew for
@@mothforpresident you don't actually need to feed it a flower every time you milk it, so you can get infinite stew by just milking them
@@IceGame644 YO that's awesome!

29:05 I'm a perfectionist.
You should make your base into a parkour course that goes up the entire thing Weaving in and out of rocks, make some interiors with the big empty space just for parkour
Haven't watched this vid yet but wanted to say that I've noticed that if you look at Grian's base from Mumbo's base and squint a little bit, the rocks sorta look like a woman in a dress holding something to the sky like the statue of liberty.
