Siberia ... For many inhabitants of the planet, this is still a mysterious, unexplored and frightening place on Earth.
To this day, there are many tales about Siberia that are far from reality. Indeed, everything is not as clear and simple here as in the forest of the European parts of Russia. ( • The Journey to Siberia... ) The Taiga is a harsh world that does not forgive mistakes. Despite the fact that we are in the 21st century and everyone has a phone and GPS, it is better for the average person not to intrude in the taiga, there are laws and traditions that must be known and followed, otherwise you may not come back.

  • Thanks for this wonderful portrait of a man with a strong integrity, based on knowledge, experience, intelligence and on high moral and ethical standards. They still exist in the outskirts of the "civilized" world ...

  • You can easily recognise that the GUIDE has a wealth of knowledge about surviving and existing in the Taiga. These films are a few years old now and I hope that he is well. Life can be short in those harsh conditions.

  • The documentaries here are good, I just wish there were more of it in English or atleast with English subtitles. The documentaries especially the nature ones help me pass my time productively in the time of the pandemic.
