  • I have the Apollo Saturn V, Lunar lander, and ISS. am currently saving up for the space shuttle for my birthday in October hopefully I can get it as it'll fit my collection perfectly. Lego should also create a perseverance rover set. That would be cool

    • I will infact admit that some of the internal bricks inside of my build were sloppily placed and caused the entire thing to split in 2 at one point but that was the only thing i had trouble with otherwise it was an amazing and clever build

  • Remember when NASA was pressured into launching more missions than they were capable of, so they ignored the possibility of a piece of foam separating from the fuel tank and damaging the heat resistant tiles of the shuttle, even though it happened before and they knew about it, that eventually lead to the crew of Atlantis barely survivng losing a tile bcause it was under a steel mounting plate and they didn't burn up upon reentry like the crew of Columbia? Oh also there was the Challenger incident. This became the deadliest space vehicle in history with 14 deaths, and 2/5 shuttles lost. They worked with 1 failure out of 68 flights, which was 1500 times worse than what NASA predicted. Still, a great model though.
