Oakley Gets a SISTER! - Say hi to "Delilah" the Puppy Dachshund!

In this episode, Oakley Dokily, the adorable little mini #dachshund who is brother to Crusoe but who lives at home by himself with his parents, is feeling a bit bored and lonely lately, especially when Crusoe and Daphne aren't there to keep him company.
So, Oakley gets the idea to be like Crusoe and get a new #puppy sister to keep him company, just like Crusoe did with Daphne. So he makes his pitch to mother and father on why they should get a new puppy. Mother and father are surprisingly receptive, and before long, a long haired, mini red dachshund named Delilah has arrived at their home!
Oakley is thrilled at first, as he now has a #cute little dachshund puppy to keep him company; to wrestle with... to chase.. to cuddle with. All was perfect. But then the honeymoon phase of owning a puppy wore off, as Oakley lost sleep at night, and started to become annoyed with Delilah always bugging him.
Will Oakley regret his decision to get a new puppy? Or will he come around? Watch Delilah's debut episode to find out!

    • @@Aletta87 Oh that's wonderful!! I've had to help 2 cross the Rainbow Bridge in the last year. I have one Doxie and the Weimaraner in my Avatar pic left. They're both seniors 13 and 11 respectively. My Doxie has been my velcro dog since we got him 11-1/2 yrs ago. We've decided not to bring any more into the pack. It took me 7 yrs after the last of my last pack was gone to get another... partly due to the heartbreak and partly due to life happening. But like the song says "I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the dance"!!

  • We just brought in a new puppy ourselves at the beginning of April, a bloodhound mix named Daisy Mae. Our three older boys (all around Crusoe and Oakley's age, actually) fully sympathize with Oakley's struggles, although Bruce has turned out to be her favorite big brother. He's the one she's constantly following around and pouncing on. He loves her but definitely appreciates a break now and then. We keep reassuring the boys that she'll grow out of it... Eventually.

  • It’s awesome seeing them together again, plus 1. Delilah’s adorable. I think her and Daphne will be besties. Can’t wait for the boys to swap sister story’s 😂 I luv these videos.   • Lilah looks just like my Wopke when he was 8 weeks! I hope she has the same mindset; friendly, carring, sweet, naughty, cudley and a cookie lover. Wopke is my best friend and I love him to pieces, there is no way to dislike him. Needles to say, Lilah already stole my heart. So curious to see her mature!!! Big hug to Crusoe please.
