  • I don’t know if RV parks does exist in the Philippines, if not I hope someone will be able to put up some in various areas to be able to accommodate those people who are enthusiastic of traveling around the country in a safe and clean environment. It’s a far fetch but I believe it will happen. Our country has an amazing country side to explore.

  • I've seen some of Atoy's custom work and I have absolute respect for the man and the creative work he has done in customizing vehicles. But the reality is that he caters to a niche segment of Filipino society. Much as I want Pinoys to embrace the tiny house movement, this is a bit disingenuous. The ethos behind owning a tiny house is pursuing a minimalist life, leaving the trappings of consumerism. It also frees the owner from decades of paying a mortgage. There is no discussion of that here. This is more of a camper van for travel, dealing with Manila's congested streets, and an enclave for all those late nights on film sets than an actual tiny house, meaning it is your MAIN and, in most cases, only home. 🙂

    • You're comment will receive some flak. However, I do agree with you and this is not to disrespect Atoy. Take note, he's a great car modifier and has a heart for the Lord. If he can drop the prices for us masses, then this will serve its purpose.

    • @@newetman4382 thank you. I'm sure some people will misread and miss the point sadly. I am clear about the respect I have for Atoy's work but what I am trying to say is not about him but the ethos behind CHOOSING to own a tiny house. I was partly hoping that Atoy will diversify his business' demographic and, you're right, make his talent affordable for other Filipinos, but if he doesn't, it's all good. It is a business. What was a missed opportunity here, however, was mentioning why opting for a tiny house can give you a better quality of life (freedom from mortgage/debt, mobility if the house is driveable, less consumerism, better for the environment, etc.). I've seen some articles and videos of amazing tiny homes designed, built, and owned by Filipinos in the country, where every space serves a purpose and some areas/items are multimodal. It would be sad if people will misinterpret my comment and be overly reactive, instead of stepping back and understanding that it is about how cool tiny homes could be and AFFORDABLE. 🙂

    • @@LS-Berliner Sure! I do understand your point to the fullest & I sway on your side! But come to think of it, Atoy caters to the wealthy Filipinos. Whatever tuning, modification or set-up he does with vehicles, it will always be a dream & salivating experience for us regular Juans..Hehe!

  • Oh it looks like our 5th wheel camper here in the US that one is so cute ,hopefully one day they will also have a camper park there in the Philippines with complete hook up for elect.water and sewer like what we have here and that will be great and i bet a lot of Pinoys will enjoy it

If you are a good handyman, abit of electrician and a plumber will build you one of this . Vw transporter are amongst the most popular conversion kit here in uk..
