  • Tip: to prevent the popsicle sticks from cracking when you try to put a hole in them, you should try soaking the popsicle sticks first

  • For ppl struggling to cut them vertically. I felt you. So here's a tip: Make the pencil line kinda dark and do it on both sides. Then carefully use the cutter on the edge and push it in a bit. Try to rotate the blade a bit (slow af) and u should see the cracks more or less lining up with pencil line. Then u can do the rest with ur hand

  • Instead I used some outdated tongue depressors. These are slightly larger than popsicle sticks but can still do the job well. It took 4 superglue tubes and lots of patience cuz I screwed up once but 12 hours later I've got a slightly large sized Balisong yet I'm so excited!   • My popsicle sticks were bigger, so the bearing didnt really work so i had to take the measurements and make my own custom one. And it works! I have only done the handle (cause the blade and bearing didnt rlly work) and it works great!

    • Try using a ruler and a oencil to first make a straight and even dent into the stick, then just run the knife/cutting tool across the indent. Usually works for me.
