Why are the presenters telling the story? No point having the guest there then.
so irritating when they do that
This interview should be used to teach Poor Journalism 101.
I’m guess you have never been a victim of anything this horrific. Here is a maybe you didn’t consider. Maybe she agreed to being on the show but couldn’t bring herself to share the story in her own words. Maybe she hasn’t healed enough yet. Maybe she asked for them to assist her through it because she wanted to share her story to help someone else. You don’t know where she’s at emotionally and I hope you never do.
Exactly why I came here. To all out the 50 year history of the media making men look worse and worse and worse and worse. This has given women political power OVER men. It's messed up our culture, and made NO one happy.
so true, I was just about to say the same thing, she hardly says anything
Why didn't they let her tell her own story?
Women talk enough as it is don't you think
@@VitoDuvalon this show they do, definitely.
That would be a monologue, not a conversation . . .
Yeah, these interviewers are *terrible*. Constant interruption. It's rude in any situation, but especially with such a delicate and traumatic story.
Well, in my opinion, this woman had nothing to say. She was mute. She did not make a good guest, and was almost unbearable from a televised interviewer's point of view. If they had her on, this was the best of the possible scenarios.
Golden rule of Loose Women, never let your guest do the talking.
Lol
I’ve never seen such a case of being over spoken. I hope in future shows that the feedback from this one they start doing better and listen more.. Unbelievably rude interviewing.
It is a true miracle that she survived this plummet to earth. Let's hope they never let this depraved man out of prison. He is a psychopath. She did nothing to deserve his wrath.
It took around twenty years for me to realize mine was a psychopath. Depraved beyond belief.
listen to what they told you - he will be out within twelve years 0:40 ..
@@andipandi5641 The sentence is life with an 18 year minimum.
Sure, to see her sitting there strong is great considering the fall would have killed her.
@@peter-ess There shouldn't be a minimum. What he wanted for her was terminal!
Why not let her share the story? These presenters are acting as an amateurs
yeah i know what you mean but mabye she agreed to go on but possible with an agreement about amount of details to protect her and her family though maybe she should of said that or the presenters - so the audience were clear
they ARE amateurs!
Yes. What an incredible woman and what a dreadful interviewer, ..they did not allow her to tell her story.....I am sorry but you ladies are not professional at all... armatures as this lady said...
UK equivalent of the US show the view😂
Guess who I won’t be following? I almost subscribed.
This Lady would never accept he was guilty for year's and refused to accept it even when confronted by the police so I'm pleased this Lady has come out the other side.
How do you know that to be true? In this "interview" she says that she choose to lie out of fear for her safety if she helped to convict him. She was not well informed by law enforcement, was healing from traumatic injuries and feared for what he might do to her. She seems like an extremely intelligent woman.
For anyone wanting to know more about her story she has a book "I Survived: A True Story." by Victoria Cilliers
thankyou!
Why the F would they not plug her book for her , at the end at least ! ?
We don't want to buy and read the books. Easy if she tell us. By the way are you her lawyer?
@@user-hu2tu4wm9k What a weird comment. No one said you had to buy or read her book. It's available at most local libraries to read for free or you can just Google her name and read the news article about the case.
I would much rather read her book - thank you so much for the share ❤ This was a very unstructured and "loose" interview, tbh...
What a horrible man ! I am so glad she survived and has found a beautiful new life .
I’d love to know the details of how she managed to not get killed in the jump and what she told police about the gas incident.
There are other videos about this. I just cannot remember the channels. But I watched them like a year or so ago.
not the best interview. I have so many questions.
She has written a book about it
exactly .details about that. Also, how they found out about the cut in the parachute, etc
Why are they speaking for her? She doesn’t really need to be there. The women is clearly intelligent and they, it is clear, are not.
18 years? That’s no time at all.
Exactly..now does the legal system justify this?
18 years to life, He will have to serve 18 years before he's even considered for parole, most likely will not get out.
That's only the minimum sentence before he even can be considered for parole. His actual sentence is life imprisonment
Very dignified lady, bless her. Wish these women will stop talking for her..
I see what all the comments mean.....Let Her Talk!! It's Her Story!! Her Miracle!!
my ex was love bombing me but changed when we married. Always check the past relationship.
Mine, too... Ugh.
Mine changed to into a completely different person as soon as we married, the same day!
She should have been allowed to tell her story. Christine in particular was quite bad - rambling on with the questions instead of asking 1 question only & making space for Vicki to answer.
Especially when during the trial internet comment sections were full of misogynists, blaming her for what he did to her and how he put their children at risk if he did the gas leak too.
I wish she would be given the chance to use her own words and speak at her own pace. This was her LIFE - not an episode of EastEnders! And at one point, Sue asked her a question with a smirk on her face as if she was about to laugh! 🤦🏿♀️ Poor journalism. Instead of feeding her life story to her in sound bites, they should ask 1 question at a time and give her a chance to respond. Then process that response with the audience showing empathy. Instead, it made HER look like a reluctant interviewee. She's obviously nervous to be on TV so it's the shows responsibility to put her at ease. As an ex journalist that's my takeaway 🤷🏿♀️
Totally agree. She needed to be on This Morning, who know how to be sensitive to people. Loose women normally interview fellow TV people.
yeah I agree but maybe she didnt want them to go into details and she agreed to go on the show but not going into details to maybe protect herself and her children! who knows
Nothing more annoying than an interviewer constantly interrupting the guest. We don't want to hear from them - we want to hear the guest!
I mean I don’t expect anything else from loose women
Sue? Do you mean Janet was smirking?
Im glad she is ok but she kept her married name i would have got rid of that straight away and not have anything to do with him.
Absolutely agree 💯
My first thought! No way would l want it!
@@bernadettemurray8260that’s very strange.
I wish they’d asked her why she had. That would’ve shut them up - maybe.
I didn’t change my married name after divorcing my violent ex husband only because I didn’t want to confuse or upset my young child because we would’ve then had different surnames you try to keep as much continuity as possible for kids when these things happen . The marriage breakdown violence divorce etc was bad enough I just didn’t want to add to it by doing that in anger. Changed my surname five years later couldn’t wait to change it actually when I married my husband (34yrs married now) by then my child was ok with everything. These domestic violence situations are so complicated and each one is unique even though they all have similarities in common.
I felt she was a lovely lady but Christine went on and on too much. You ask a question then stop talking and let the person answer
A lot interviewers seem to do this now. I agree with you, it's a bit much
I think you’re wrong
She’s very reticent so they have to fill in for her, she’s not offering much
I agree. She did not let her tell her story uninterrupted.
Yeah this was a really frustrating interview to watch. The guest should have been allowed to talk.
What a very brave woman.
They are not asking, they are leading the conversation not letting her to speak her experience.
He was gaslighting her. I wouldn’t keep his surname.
Some divorced moms want the same name as their children.
@@ahill4642 I have seen a sibling of 4 when their dad cheated on their mom, I think two of them kept their father's surname and the other took their grandpa's surname. Then their mother remarried so she has a different last name.
@@lilynaw3767 Why on earth not just use the mother's maiden name, or even that of her mother's? It's not the 18th century....and yet it still is in many ways.
When women gather together... there's so much emotional involvement that they can't wait to be heard ...it would had been nice to hear more about her own story from herself.
Yess...terrible interivew....such an incredible story...but these women made a hash of it....!
Not women, but definitly attention seeking ones.
it's an absolutely terrible show, can't watch it. KZhead showed me this as I watched a true crime on this poor woman.
@@ArtByEmilyHareyes that’s why I came to this video too. I wanted to hear Victoria’s experience, not listen to presenters cackle. Terrible “interview.”
you just had to be sexist. Well done
You ask questions but do not give the poor woman chance to answer
BEAUTIFUL SOUL❣️ I am SO happy you are safe!!! Sending peace, love, and healing energy from Kyle, Texas USA 🙏😇💫
WOW! She is a miracle!
Very disappointing
Dreadful story. So pleased this lady survived and put her life back together. Dreadful interview by the Ladies. Very dis jointed, too much from them and really no structure to the interview. It felt like much was not said.
What a lovely lady Victoria is. I hope that the next chapter in her life is truly happy and whole.
She looks like BETTY WHITE in her younger years!😂😅😂
And talks like her.
Spot on! she does!
Yes I saw that right away. RIP Betty!
Bless her! 🙏🕊️
She's Keira Knightley. She should make a movie about it and star in it. Beautiful and amazing!
I am so glad Vicky has found happiness. She is an amazing woman. I remember this so vividly + still my lip curls at the sight of that sorry excuse of a man.
Get a grip , he's a top Fella
If it wasn't for the police Cilliers would be walking free today. She refused to cooperate with the investigation & obstructed it in everyway she could. The first trial collapsed when she refused to give evidence against Cilliers.
What was his Motive? Life Insurance? Did not want to lose wealth in a Divorce? Wish they had made this clear
He was in debt, needed the money and also his freedom to be with a new interest.
I wanna know how they pinpointed it back to her husband?
There’s a documentary about this case on Netflix.
One of the men in charge of the parachutes noticed it was tampered with and called the police I read somewhere.
Her husband took the parachute into the toilets, and when the jump was cancelled, instead of taking it back to get another one the next day, he kept the same one in his locker for her. Plus there's evidence he tampered with the gas supply in the house while her and the children were in the house.
@@SuzLa1 So he didn't care if he killed his own kids? What a psychopath.
They normally interview celebrities who know about TV. This interview should of been done on This Morning. This women doesn't know how to be interviewed by three people. Don't blame her
Note she'd also had years of him grooming her to doubt her own rationalIsing ability by this man.
Wow what an amazing lady she is ❤🙏👍👏👋💪
Jesus why are they literally telling the story for her
That's what I was just shouting at the screen! So annoying!! Egotism at it's finest.
@@user-js3cr6wu7gthey won’t let her talk it’s so annoying
Jesus, the Name above all names
@@ronelopperman2675 Yes, NO ONE should use the name of Jesus that way.
Jesus is lord 🙏🏻
They missed telling what contributed to her surviving the fall.
documentary coming in June (shhhh)
The field she landed on had just been furrrowed so the churned up mud was much softer than usual. There was a documentary last year. She totally blanked the first investigation, she didn't cooperate or speak in court so he went free for years. Even though he tried to gas her before that.
Well, she said one of them was because she was spinning.
And the field had been plowed 👀 ploughed? 🙄 anyway, the field was not as hard as it could have been. ☺️
She said that it was a combination of things. She said that it was luck, the fact that she was spinning, which created Lyft, and then that she landed in a plowed field. Did you not watch the whole video?
Well these ladies don’t really need a guest. They can just tell the stories themselves. Would be nice to hear from the survivor herself.
They lived on my estate. Bless her.
Bless him for having to put up with her !
Why what's so bad about her? Seems your sympathising with a psychopath @@VitoDuval
Goodness gracious, let the woman tell her own story! Wow.
This sounds like a Narcissist! Red flag---didn't tell you about his kids. Yes, these people always make the other person think its their fault.
Jeezus, poor Vicky is trying to talk while running a gauntlet of 4 women stepping all over her sentences and dragging her to and fro. A ridiculous format -- especially for such a terrible and poignant story that the victim is trying to share. Ladies: learn to have more tact and sensitivity in your interviewing technique, because this style is very off-putting and aggravating.
the late, great Larry King would have allowed her to TALK!
I read her book, its excellent
Thinking of Vicki and wishing her all the best for the future
I have a saying from dealing with my homicidal sociopathic brother." When our need is greater that our need for the truth then relaity will come to wake us up.'
Little things? His children!
Right?! It’s monumental…
The poise of this woman is absolutely amazing considering what she has went through in her life. Kudos to her and her current happiness she is now experiencing! Thanks to the presenters who I’m sure assisted in telling her story as I’m sure she was very nervous.
Astonishing. Unbeliveable, but true. Sadly.
Have never seen this show before … the old lady in lime green and bad red wig is enough to keep me from ever watching it again.
So you need everyone to be a super model, is it? 🤔 There’s a word for that.
Only 18 years?? If he gets out, he'd better be on a watchlist or something!
They should have his picture up in every skydiving site in the country !
18 years minimum. His sentence was life imprisonment.
God that interview was like getting blood from a stone.
I didn’t understand anything why it happened lol
Yeah I remember reading about this and looking into it further.
The woman can’t get a word in hardly. Oh dear she’s far more interesting than the panel.
I would have liked to hear more from Vicky
I gave this video a thumbs up for this woman. She is remarkably strong!
It wasn't luck that you survived......It was God not ready for you to go yet.....you might not believe, but IT WAS NOT LUCK.....this is a noddging to seek why you are still here......did you call on luck to save you when falling???? Lord.....
That is freaking amazing!!!! TYJC
Just found this on KZhead, why have a person on for an interview about something that happened to them and then the interviewer do all the talking. It was her story to tell.
Great interview, you just unfortunately missed all the interesting parts..
Interviewer talks too much
Watched the documentry
Thank you for being alive
Apologies, I misread previous commenter, I agree, too much talk from interviewers. Needed a different, more sensitive approach .
Can the hosts shut up so that we can listen to the story from the person who experienced its point of view!?
18years is nothing, this country..
18 years minimum. His sentence was life imprisonment..
Christine likes her own voice too much .
Christines clearly helping her along as she’s nervous and not giving a full picture or story in chronological order
Gossip Show
They keep interrupting her,quit it!
so happy she has been able to move forward. I do wonder how the children are faring
This is like an interview a CBS morning show did several years ago with Bob Seger. They would ask questions and he didn’t get to answer too many . He answered some but they would interrupt and talk over him. I thought it was so rude and a waste of his time. They need to learn the fine art of shutting up and listening to the answer to their questions, obviously the same applies to these women. Be respectful and courteous to your guest.
What a courageous women...a true fighter and survivor 💪🏽
This woman is incredibly strong. ❤ I hope you can heal.
'''He promised her everything'' Loooooool and she believed it !
Well he gave her marriage and two kids didn’t he?
And missed all the red flags 🚩
Incredible to be alive
This woman has taken her story over. Iike this happened to her.
Great idea!
Should he ever get out, does she have a restraining order against him?
Good to hear she’s doing well. Crazy story!
Hey interviewer stop talking and let her speak. You’re putting words in her mouth. Did you not learn this and school?
Shut up and let her tell the story!
18 years jail sentence for her psychopath husband is an insult to justice
The loose women panel, are like a group of teenagers in the school playground. All they want is their voice being heard. What a waste of time, this woman had so much to share, if she'd have been allowed to talk, instead they gave her a few seconds after each dumb comment from themselves.
I would like to have her explain the first attempt using gasoline. They didn't go into any details on that.
Not gasoline, domestic gas.
Wow.
Poor woman, horrible 😢 I wish her the best in life now and to be truly loved ❤
Why are these women speaking for this lady they are interviewing?
She's very quiet ..
I have never been so terrified in my life. This is insane.
why were you scared?
this is men, though
@@babypicassoeisenstein?
These presenters are far too chatty. Let her speak.
Victoria, the survivor, has such a blunted affect
Sweep your Narcissistic celebrities, relying on notes, and pretending to know her story, out of the way, and let her speak!
That woman with black hair just went on and on putting words into Vicky Cilliers mouth ffs!
She had to help her along, as she was only saying little bits of the story.
Zero sympathy for these narcissistic elites
I used to know a guy that I think is a narcissist. Got myself out of that situation. Decided the best course for my life was to not have romantic relationships and get everything I need by myself. Sorry, but I like my dog and cat more.
Miracle
I’m not sure the wife still believes he did it.
I can’t …. These women babble their heads off… so why bother to have guests?
18 years isn't long enough
This is why I listen to podcast, always feel these stories have so much to say and on television they just want sound bites.
