With term time back upon us, Abbey and Peter sit down to reflect on their summer holidays and their mixed emotions now that the little ones have gone back to school.
The gang have some tips on how to get back into the swing of things if you have fallen out of routine and some other pearls of wisdom on how to make the most of your time away from the kids.
In a change of tone for the weekly whine club we hear some uplifting stories of how your other halves have gone the extra mile this week to put a smile on your face so it is less of a weekly whine and more of weekly shine!
However, it is business as usual for the Agony Abs and we find out what to do when someone prematurely drops the L bomb and how to get you partner back when they criticise your weekly shopping skills.

I can't believe I've turned into one of those people watching total strangers' lives on here (and even commenting!) instead of being out living my own; always thought that was a bit pathetic lol! But while recovering from surgery I started watching old episodes of BNTM and became a huge Abbey fan, enough to be curious what she's been up to since then, she just seemed like a delightful person. By and by I encountered videos of her with Peter (being in the US I had no idea who he was) and he made me laugh out loud which was much needed! I love the two of them together, truly cheered me up during a rather glum time in my life ❤
You 2 have me in stitches. Watching this my husband and son (21) were in the room, when you were reading out the one about weekly shopping and being sick of cooking meals that everyone moans about, they were looking at me like it was me who’d written in😆. We really are all the same aren’t we, same wines, same spoilt men 😆. Enjoy your date night. Love the podcast.

Their day to day observational relationship humour is what makes the podcast unique. Smutty humour has been done 1m times over and they don’t actually need to do that to be funny. It’s not offensive, they’re just funnier talking about ordinary everyday things.
