Can you tag their ears so when released someone may know that this animal has had human interaction. They may not fear humans when released or might they forget? In need they might approach a human for help and that person would fear something is wrong and hurt that beaver. Or radio tag one to see where they have gone and how they are doing
When beavers are released into the wild, they don't randomly approach humans if they have had human contact in the past. Beavers can identify their human "family members" by their unique scent. However, they tend to be distrustful of unfamiliar individuals.
@@salixvonufer If in need I'm wondering if they would "ask" for help. Although if a human would break up their dam that might end any trust for humans.

Is the fur brushing to desensitize Tulip’s back? You’d mentioned how it’s still sensitive either from lack of beaver-to-beaver grooming or her injury or both. Curiosity piques!
