    • Until you catch one of them toe nails in the leg on accident... 😂😂😂 Probably would wanna get them puppies removed if you were gonna keep one as a pet for some reason (don't do that) I think they're just for protection and don't serve any other purpose so it would probably be fine to remove them... I don't know but it doesn't really matter cause I'll never need to know 😂 To be clear: I meant it should be fine to remove them from the perspective of whether or not they need them. We're leaving morals out of it cause, morally speaking, you should leave the damn things as nature meant them to be! But I don't think they *need* them the way cats do. If a cat gets outside somehow and doesn't have claws it can be bad news for kitty. But it sure is cuter when they try to scratch you without claws than it is with them... ☺️

  • Handling one is very risky. Their venomous spurs cause irretractable agony which can’t be relieved by morphine upon being stung. The pain can persist for weeks. The only treatment is a nerve block and surgery and the nerve block only works if you’re stung somewhere like a hand or foot.
