@dre32pitt yes and also chemistry... the nuggets have amazing chemistry. You can see they love each other. You can't get that with a bunch of huge egos . The only reason it worked in Golden State was that KD was the only star addition. The others were there naturally and already had amazing chemistry, and Steph, similarly to Jokic, is unselfish he gave KD the room.

I'm a Mavs fan and I'm having the darnedest time finding alternative angles to that overturned Kyrie foul. Strange.
A missed no call in minute 8 matters the same amount as minute 47. I know the last 2 min report was bad, but Brunson was getting hit like that all game, and there weren’t any fouls. Also, don’t allow a team to score 8 points in 40 secs.
Actually it matters more when time is running out than when there's plenty of time to make up for it. Using only logic is deceiving bc there are human elements that come into play outside of just the analytics of it.

Beal would be perfect on the Magicm the magic need a true pure scorer and someone who can initiate some and draw defenses towards them to free up Franz and Paolo. He is still youmg enough that 2 or 3 seasons worth in Orlando could help them in the East. Send out Anthony, Isaac and a couple 2nd round picks for Beal. Magic still would have 13.5 million in cap space and if they trade Mo to a team with cap space, would gain an additional 8 million in cap space for free agency aquisitions.

With Giannis out, the Bucks and Doc Rivers have a built-in excuse for losing the series against Pacers, Dame, however brilliant he has been in the first half, he's no longer a 4-quarter guy, and being a smaller and older player, you could figure out schemes against him if he's the only guy scoring big (and Doc as usual had no counters in Game 2 for that, though he must've known that Pacers would try something). If I were the Bucks, I'd probably hold Giannis out--they ain't winning this, and the risk of a more serious injury is too big. BTW, literally 2 ads every 5 mins during this pod is WAY too much....making it almost unwatchable because of it.
Pheonix, they came together, they are a good team, they shown they can beat the Wolves in the regular season. But man is it crazy how obsessed people are that something is wrong with Pheonix and not willing, literally unwilling to just admit that there is something right with Minnesota. Minnesota doesn't beat anyone, teams just implode for other reasons. They all the sudden have chemistry issues, depth issues, age issues. Everyone Minnesota faces has a lot of magical issues where they are old, and coached badly. It must be nice to not have to actually beat anyone, just show up and they self destruct randomly.

Here’s the thing, is it confidence that they can win the series or arrogance because they just think they’re better? Because it sounds so much like they just disrespect the Knicks like that, and nobody is acknowledging that in those two games, Jalen Brunson hasn’t even played good. You can make all the guarenteed you want, the Knicks have heard all the chatter all year about their season being over once Randle got hurt, and somehow still managed to get the second seed. Let's see. Multiple runs on Okc with few weapons around him outside of Westbrook and 6th man Harden. Toe on the line barring a single-handled series win vs Bucks to reach conference finals. The one playoffs he played poorly in was vs Boston, where Brooklyn was clearly overmatched by a finals destined Celtics team. He and Booker a two man team vs Nuggets in the semifinals last year, and no one on the whole team stepping up this round vs Minnesota. Kd the only member of the 3 to show up at all. And oh, back at Gs, he gets injured and the Dubs have no real shot at a chip vs Toronto and manage to make the playoffs, let alone the finals, 2 out of 5 yrs since he left. You think Lebron is losing to the warriors again after they had him 3-1 and lost? Not without Kd finals mvps. A lot of "excuses" but the reality is that unlike prime Curry or Lebron, outside of 3 yrs on golden state he has put himself on thin teams with chokegoat teammates throughout his career, whether westbrick, harden, covid kyrie. Nice win for the Pacers, but we need to real about Haliburton. The media was too quick to anoint this guy. Earlier in the year, they were treating him like Magic Johnson and talking first team All-NBA. He is buds with JJ Reddick and a darling of Bill Simmons, largely based on his personality. But come on guys, he is a good player, sure, but the offensive numbers for the entire year are better with McConnel. He is never going to be consistent shooter with that chicken neck release, and he sucks on defense. Great guy, getting better for sure, but come on, guys. Get over yourself. (I know he was injured at some point, but when does the time to play that card elapse? Seems to me we are probably there now)
Never felt good about Phoenix. Was a skeptic from the start. For starters, Beal is overrated (and highly overpaid). Let's get that out of the way. Realistically, they are 2 to 3 players away from being a contender. You could argue that they need a PG, a backup PG, and a Big. We all all know about the PG problem, but as the TNT guys stated the other night, they need a Big too. They only have one big, and he is average. Not going to get it in that department either. This is a crucial point they are 2-3 good players away from being a contender. In other words, they are not close right now.

Mavs sucked in the first half of game 1. Since then they have beaten the Clippers in four out of six quarters.
