Stats don't tell the truth on how well Kyrie played. I've never seen him playing defense so well in 13 seasons, and he's the glue, the "silent leader" of the team. He knows when to take things in his own hands and when it's time to let Luka cook.

I love how in game 1 where the mavs played horrendously, bricked open shots and had to dig themselves out of a 29pt lead the media wanted to claim it was the Clippers' "amazing defense" when it wasnt at all. Then in game 4 they ignored the fact that the Clippers won due to the ridiculous shooting with defense all over them and pretended like the Clippers "outplayed them" when it was just them being red hot from 3. Now they absolutely dominate the Clippers defensively and nobody talks about it, it took freaking Skip of all people to say it... Mavs defense is the best in the league right now, even Luka has been locking everyone up...
