  • Ariel Helwani has always been a stand-up interviewer and an excellent representative for MMA in general. To me, it is wonderful watching Paddy Pimblett prove everything I have ever said about him from his very first appearance on the UFC stage. I said he was nothing but hype and that once the UFC/Dana White stops shielding him from real fights that all the holes in his game would be apparent. It didn't even take a ranked fighter from his own weight class to do it. It only took an unranked fighter from a lower weight class to bank on him enough to show the world that this kid was out of his league. And now people and his "fans" are being shown that he's a lying, weak, narcissist who isn't worth the money that the UFC is throwing away in order to market him. It is great to see that just like the McGregor that came before him, that Paddy is his own worst nemesis...only, Paddy will fall quicker and much deeper than Paddy's blueprint named Conor did.

  • 10-7 Helwani, I feel like the fame has really gone to Paddy's head as of lately, when he first joined the UFC the fights and promotion he was doing just seemed more natural and fun, now it seems like he is just trying to force himself to be a good promoter to get rich quick instead of just being himself. Especially after his fight with Jared how he thought he clearly won that fight, he was still trying to get fight of the night and promote himself even more which I mean as UFC fighter you should be doing those things, however people respect the truth and the truth is that fight was way closer than he thought and he didn't have the nuts to admit that. Even Suga Sean, one of the sports biggest fighters in terms of promotion after his fight was like yea idk if I won that fight or what but I'll have to go watch it back, now that is the truth, and I think a lot of people respected him for not being like Paddy saying he clearly won that fight, he knew that was a close fight and admitted to it like an honorable fighter. It is going to get interesting when Paddy has to face some real competition....

    • Paddy says he not only won but won all 3 rounds! And yes he’s a celebrity first and a fighter second. Have you seen his KZhead channel? Millions of views! Which hey I respect the hustle but what you do in the octagon is for all to see and the judges might give you a win but that doesn’t do anything in terms of the public’s perspective. He is actively tanking his fandom.

  • 10:40 Ariel even says he thinks this mess is mostly down to Paddy's manager, even before this beef started Ariel said he warned Paddy about his manager because he was looking out for him but how does he think Paddy felt? To Paddy he probably thought Ariel was trying to stir things between him and his manager, the manager has disliked Ariel ever since. Its like Ariel has forgotten why the manager hates him 🤣

  • This isn't the first time Paddy has pulled the "I need to get paid" card in one of his vlogs awhile back he mentioned a famous eating youtuber by the name of BeardMeatsFood so Beard mentioned Paddy in response in a video he dropped and invited Paddy to be in one of his eating videos then Paddy in a vlog later made a comment about Beard and them collabing but he said he would need to be paid first... forgetting he mentioned Beard first it wasn't as if Beard just randomly reached out and invited Paddy it was after Paddy mentioned him in one of his vlogs needless to say till this day theirs never been a Paddy appearance on BeardMeatsFood 😆

Months of building up goodwill and popularity flushed by some ill thought out decisions and possibly winning the robbery of the year?
