Who would have predicted that the downfall of Brenda Schlub would be Ariel Helwani
Ariel was the only one who spoke up about Schaub and to Schaub out in the open, and the TFATK subreddit absolutely made it easy for him. The TFATK subreddit turned on Schaub years ago when they realized how much of douchebag asshle he became, and since then, that sub has become a cache of digital munitions with evidence and video proof of Schaub bragging, hating on others, and legitimate lying. Anyone who wanted to get dirt on Schaub and nail him would have simply just visit that sub and they would have everything they would need on a silver platter to roast schaub, and Ariel has been the only one to do it. There’s so many people in and around the MMA and Comedy world who know of that sub and even visit it, and everyone kept hush hush not saying a damn thing about what we were all laughing at behind closed doors. Huge respect to Ariel for stepping up and putting that moron on blast.

I have never enjoyed listening to Ariel so much as I do now that he's let himself loose. Besides being the gold standard for MMA reporting, his personality, his daily takes and brutally honest observations are spectacular. He's really a treasure to the sport and the sport is extremely lucky to have him. Schaub, not so much.

I have to agree with the Nose, Brendan does think he’s better than a lot of people. I’ll admit he does have a lot of genetic advantages, tall, good looking and athletic. Schaub gets 10-8’d all the time by simple sentences and names of people who he is supposed to know. I used to be a fan a while back until I realized he was phoning it in and didn’t seem to care about the content anymore.
Hilarious one for the cats on 12 Oct tfatk. 40 mins(ish) boxing talk. Shapel chimes in to ask about Whyte v AJ fight details, both quickly change subject.. meme worthy.
He’s 100% accurate about Schaub ripping people off. I mean, just listen to King and the Sting. He repeats what Theo says very often.
Brendan is very good at associating with the right people, that is definitely a quality he has and got him to this point so far. He is really good at networking and associates with the right folks just like he did with Joe, then Theo, Callen, etc He is the perfect person personification of fake it till you make it....except that he hasn't really made it yet. It is still all fake at this point, and he acts like it isn't. His comedy, his podcasting where he pays his guests, his relative "success" by associating with others, being at the right place at the right time, it is all good but there is a way to deal with this if he chooses to take this route until he mades it and it simply to keep it quiet and humble. Enjoy the ride, but don't make unecessary ennemies like he did with Ariel who outed him on his BS. The mask is gonna fall one day, and he'll be on for a nightmare.
@@mindfulnessnow3094 you pretty much nailed it. Don’t make enemies with people who know the behind the scenes BS you’re pulling and can out you at any minute for it. The thing with Brendan is, he’s only as good as his co host. If Theo left KATS, it would diminish. If Brendan left, it wouldn’t matter. Same goes for TFATK. Below the belt has dropped 27 spots to #80 on sports podcast in America. Plus the whole “say it to my face” response to Helwani shows he has nothing left to offer. The difference is, Helwani will still be going strong in 5 years, where as Brendan will continue to be less and less relevant until he diminishes.
