Id argue this is the equivalent of ~45 goals for a forward.
Last season 2 defensemen got 20 goals. 5 forwards got 50 goals. This season 4 defensemen got 20 goals, and 4 forwards got 50 goals. I think it's much more comparable with a forward's 50 goals than 45 goals.
