Ichibei uses both of his Shikai and Bankai, which gotta be the most broken Zanpakuto. I doubt that Aizen back in the Fake Kurakura arc could have won even with being immortal. to be fair, Ichibei never did want to lose. In the can't fear your own world light novel, he did say to Kyoraku that he didn't think that they would win as he planned to use either Yhwach as the Soul King and or Ichigo. But he did tell Kyoraku that he is glad they didn't need to use as the new Soul King. So the "Zero squad are weak", is bs in the manga and anime is bs, cause they never meant to win including Ichigo and the others

@@soul8648 I mean him dying and resurrecting is more likely than him being sealed, then breaking out exactly a millennia later, and Yamamoto not just waiting right outside the seal ready to incinerate him immediately.
The bankai was a bit lackluster but the fluidity of the attacks show why ichimonji has lived so long and is the strongest squad zero member.

The problem is people consider when a power is not flashy to mean "lackluster" which is a sad truth of Fandom these days. If you objectively look at what his bankai can do it's clear as day it is far from lackluster. He litterally has a bankai so powerful that it COMPLETELY wipes you from existence itself as in no reincarnation or Hell just nothing. Anybody who isn't Ywach would be toast against it since it derives is power from the very concept of the color Black itself.

Ichibe's Zanpakutou is interesting when you remember that the name Bleach was chosen by Kubo because it represents both the colors black and white without explicitly saying so.

The entire TYBW arc is just people using powers that make them unbeatable monsters and continuously playing reverse uno cards on each other. As soon as you think one person has lost, they pull some bullshit out of their ass like its season 1 of Yugioh.

Considering that this obviously isn't the end cause the main character has to have the epic showdown with the main villain. How does Yhwach and the others bullshit their way out of this?
Remember that Ichibei sealed the almighty in himself until Ywach ceased to exist. In his hubris Ichibei didn’t realize taking away Ywachs name would cause him to cease to exist and get his power back.

The manga never showed how he lost it, and it only said he got it back because the 1000 years of recovering his powers had finally finished during that fight. The anime actually showed Ichibe sealing it, so hopefully it explains further how he regained it.

@@frzlrd spoilers Ichibei talked to Kyoraku about Ichigo in the light novel of can't fear your own world that Ichibei did not expect them to win against Yhwach, as he planned on making Yhwach as the Soul King. If anything came to worse, both of Kyoraku and Ichibei planned on having Ichigo as the Soul King which is why he did that training in the first place. It was said in the interview that everything of which you saw and will see in the anime, Kubo had already planned out, but he was with a bad health and with no time to flesh out his ideas. But now the anime is here, the team will do what Kubo wants/wanted to do cause there's no time or health restrictions. But he already planned for this. So when Ichibei and Kyoraku talked about that, both were happy that Ichigo was not the Soul King as both like Ichigo

no. Well, he tried to, but Ichibei made it lose it's name. Because of that, Yhwach never actually spoilers used Yamamoto's Bankai in the final fight of Aizen and Ichigo, because he forgot about the name from Ichibei. Yes, he has it, but he doesn't remember the name of it cause of Ichibei's Zanpakuto.

Ichibei is more evil than Yhwach. You'd/you'll know if you red the light novel can't fear your own world. The reason why the zero squad looked "weak" in the manga, cause even in the anime their or Ichibei's goal wasn't to win. He did fight, but he wanted to have either Yhwach or Ichigo to be the Soul King and couldn't care what happens to all worlds. He even said that to Kyoraku, but was glad Ichigo isn't the Soul King spoilers, because, both like Ichigo

I actually hated the tbw...didnt like the overpowered yhwach ability or the way it was defeated. We also didnt get to see Ichigo fight enough, it just wasn't that satisfying to me. I might be in the minority with my opinion but thats just how I feel about it. With that said I love Bleach, not trying to hate on it or anything.

They have similar abilities. Both of them have naming power. Almighty just helped Yhwach to predict his fate and make preparations to avoid the result. Without his naming powers his omniprecognition is useless. It's like giving it to Hanataro. He will only see his death in every timeline.

@@soul8648 they never explained it in details, but this is how it works. Yhwach has the ability to engrave an ability with letters. He can bestow himself all that without problem. That's why this fight looks like uno-reverse.

it's called dialogue and this is probably 1 of the better fights as it explains in depth along with a feeling a it being 2 god like figures
