Nestled deep within the Cheshire countryside in the old manufacturing town of Crewe, there is a place where design and engineering collide, and where tradition and the modern harmoniously clash to create absolute luxury - this is Bentley Motors.
This quintessentially British institution will open its doors to the cameras to see the design and production of a new supercar. In this single documentary our presenter will delve into a world of contrasts, witnessing cutting edge design meeting hand built craftsmanship, while exploring how a British northern town supplies the worlds most luxury cars.
Through access to the conception of a new diesel Bentayga the first time Bentley have ever produced a diesel car - the documentary will unlock the secrets of a factory steeped in British heritage and shine a light on design and production processes where only excellence will suffice.
Our presenter will experience the design process first hand, meeting the separate competing design teams while understanding the thought processes behind creating a new winning model. They'll see mind blowing life size clay moulds of the prototype builds and gain an appreciation of how design and engineering work in harmony to produce both a technically brilliant and beautiful car.
Welcome to Reel Truth History, the home of gripping and powerful documentaries. Here you can watch both full length documentaries and series that explore some of the most comprehensive pieces of world history.

  • A few years ago I saw a group of 8 vintage Bentleys on the road. They looked magnificent and the engine sounds were unforgettable. I would never forget that sight and that sound. I have also been in the latest Bentleys, and while the interior is exquisite, from the outside, they all look bland, generic and clinical. The old cars had presence, the new cars don't.

    • @@williamegler8771 Well, technically Triumph has been sold to the Germans seen as the Triumph Motor Co is owned by BMW. I'm guessing you mean Triumph Motorcycles though, but as the owner of a 1974 Triumph Dolomite Sprint, the first 16v production car in the world, I've often wondered what could have been if Triumph had received the backing it deserved, certainly think that it would be ahead of BMW, seen as Triumph invented the entire concept of the luxury fast compact saloon and wiped the floor with BMW back in the day.
