The fact that some wild animals recognize humans as a last resort source of help makes me think that, on a certain level, a lot of animals can understand that we're smart/powerful. They might not know how we do things, but they know we can do a lot. It's like a human begging a witch for help even though you know she might eat you instead. If you're desperate enough...

@@rachaelleann9847 I agree and decided to look alittle further into this. The majority of articles say the same thing, it is NOT necessary to remove them. If the animal is sick and full of parasites, then removal would be the best for the turtle but there is a better way to handle this without forcing them off. Put the turtle into fresh water for a period of a day or so as the fresh water will kill the barnacles and they will eventually fall off on their own. They do cause undo stress for the turtles by the increased surface drag all while decreasing the overall hydrodynamic shape of the turtle, swimming is not as easy. If they are removed in the manner in which we saw, great care should be taken. More than likely the barnacles have already damaged the shell, removal will only enhance that damage with the possibility of causing further injury. I say if they are in trouble turn them over to a wildlife or aquatic specialist who will best know how to care for the animal!

That’s Jupiter, a somehow famous lion in Colombia. It sparked a huge controversy in the Country until coronavirus came at it went below radar. Jupiter the Lion was “adopted” by that Lady when some “haciendas” from Narco lords were seized by the state. The lady kept the lion in good condition in a makeshift refugee near the city of Cali, Colombia which is near the Pacific coast. Refugee was mostly open to paying visitors to help cope with food cost. When a new law was enacted, Jupiter was ordered to be transferred to a “rural area” so an alligator farm near the Caribbean (Atlantic) coast took him in with unsurprising results. Jupiter was allegedly abused or neglected but the alligator farm owners kept the receipt copy of letters informing the authorities about how Jupiter was sick and they didn’t know what to do. Turns out Jupiter had kidney damage from what seems to be some kind of repeated heat-strokes, the new environment apparently was too hot and humid for an old lion. When it hit the news, the government went from one extreme to the other and Jupiter was airlifted back to Cali and taken care of by a set of vet specialists like never seen before (It is even reported that Jupiter went under Renal Replacement Therapy- blood dialysis) all paid with public funds. Obviously it sparked a huge controversy about why the government spent all those resources when there are kids and old people who die everyday having no access to medical services or good sanitation across the country. (Not to the extreme of dying from hunger, Colombia is not Venezuela, yet) But then came Cov19, a new President an everyone forgot about that.

When I became a disabled and homeless veteran. Wild animals kept me together and gave me a reason to keep living. I got rid of all my guns I owned and hunted with since age 4. I still live in the woods and animals are all that keeps me company. I had 4 cats I raised from the second they were born. But after being hospitalized. Something happened to them. My family promised to take care of them and my raccoons. But they have no empathy for animals. It completely destroys me. Many people do not love like they should.

Belief in Messiah alone is not enough to get you into heaven, you must become a new creation and be born again by responding to the Holy Spirit. - Matthew 7:21-23, Revelation 3:15-16 cf. Hebrews 10:26-29. Pay close attention to your thoughts and how you respond to your inner monologue because it has a greater impact than you think. the elephant is an exception they are EXTREMELY intelligent and they will fully understand that you've helped them

It's amazing JUST how intelligent animals can be. A solitary wild animal approaching a GROUP of humans while in a completely defenseless state is something that takes an unbelivable amount of logic and pondering, if you really think about it.
It's more desperation than logic. Their instincts tell us that humans are a threat, and unfortunately those instincts are often accurate, but when they're in immediate danger, they're willing to take the risk of trusting humans. I agree with you 100%!

The story about the lion who refused to eat unless the human who originally saved him was allowed to come back just goes to show how serious cats of all sizes are about their pack dynamics. If a cat adopts you, you’re now part of its family no matter how strange you look or smell.

Just imagine, you save a lion from the circus and the authorities take it away form you, for obvious reasons. You’re at home completely heartbroken and then you get a call asking if you’ll come and visit the lion because it refuses to eat without you. That’s love right there.
I love animals.. they need us more than you know ❤
These good souls who have saved these poor animals are truly good beings. It is so heartwarming to see these animals rescued, and feeling so much joy thereafter. Bless their hearts
I'm a hard barked old guy and I had tears running down my cheeks witnessing the incredible kindness and love on the part of humans toward their fellow creatures. There's hope for us. : )
That's sweet.
You’re not the only one that got teary eyed. lol😢
You are hardened by the cruelty of humans and your tears are proof of that. We need to know that humans are capable of both cruelty and kindness
Hope for us!? I hope i can get these contacts in properly, cause they're messing with my eyes too 😉
Yeah unfortunately I think people in this world show more kindness towards animals than they do human beings!
Imagine if the news would share this kind of stuff. I saw people of all walks of life helping these animals. This stuff happens every day. It’s where you place the spotlight that shows everyone what’s going on.
Sadly some people film for the wrong reasons, even intentionally putting the animal in harms way to get likes. Sometimes it's hard to know what's true and what's staged. Very grateful for this compilation and to see so many compassionate humans
Amen!! I would love to see good news encouraging people to do good. The news is so bad it's depressing
well yea but i dont think the news was just for a duck
sadly there are youtube channels dedicated to put the animals themselves in in danger in order to make money and get views.
The news is there to give you headlines. Yes, headlines. Lines in your forehead. It's not there to report the true state of the world. It's there to keep you in fear.
All beautiful people, thank you for your kindness and humanity ♥

I actually had no idea horses hooves grew… that makes the bond between horses and people so much more special.❤
They are kind of like fingernails. They keep growing and as long as they're being used they're fine because horses in the wild wear down their hooves but horses kept in a pen and neglected aren't wearing down their hooves so they keep growing. Poor thing.
Some horses feet grow too slowly that the wear outpaces the growth & they have to be shod by a Ferrier/blacksmith
Im a 29 yo male and watching this brought tears to my eyes. All this negativity around the world and seeing this just warms my heart. I'm an empath so this is so beautiful to see and the animals that show their appreciation is amazing.

Damn dude. Sorry to hear that I hope things either got or are getting better for you. 🙏
I’m so sorry Kyle 😢 You deserve better. Everyone does, but especially our veterans. I hope things turn around for you Sir. Many blessings to you ❣️

Kyle, you should be able to contact the VA for housing. I'm also a vet and had to use services in 2010. They were very helpful. I hope you are well.

Everyone of these people is a fellow human after my own heart ❤. Bless every single one of you for all the days that follow you🥰🥰🥰🥰
I think it's really brave of someone to help an animal like the cobra and the polar bear when not many people would risk their lives helping an animal that could actually kill them, and it was amazing to see how grateful those animals were.
That cobra probably killed a child in the village for dinner a week later.

Repent and follow Jesus my friend! Repenting doesn't mean confessing your sins to others, but to stop doing them altogether. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life, and do all that you can to follow His ways.

Who can turn away from an animal in distress? Far too many. Lovely to see some people have a good spirit of caring for others.
I love Them All. How can I not. ❤
It’s sad that a lot of the things that trapped the animals were people’s garbages. We have no clue how massive our effects on other species & we’re only seeing a few rescues. I’m thankful for all the efforts of these good people.
God, videos like this always make my day. As a biologist I know we will never truly be able to understand an animals thoughts and feelings. Still, the fight for survival is a deep rooted one, and I believe our emotional side we have evolved long before humans. Thank you rescuers, for your time, patience, and empathy ❤️
Elephants, the biggest nose, the biggest ears and the biggest brain in the terrestrial kingdom. The biggest brain ever evolved on this planet is the Sperm whale. Every year they make up a new song and they spy hop and let loose until they have all agreed (all the whales) where they will meet up for spring break. An Alligator has a brain the size of a walnut. And we think we are the top of the food chain.
Not evolved, created. Look around you creation is everywhere!
Well, considering how we refuse to understand Black People because of their Skin Color, why should we be expected to understand the *_"Thoughts and Feelings"_* of animals in the wild!🙄
Animal behavioralist, pretty easy to understand animals emotions. All one needs to do is figure out a things value systems to understand most of its behaviors.
Amen!!!🥰
I've spent a lot of my 45 years in the wilderness. I've only had a few animals ask for help. But, those few times are the best memories of my life. It's a strange sort of trust. They trust you as long as you're needed, and then they are gone. I think that's a good thing.
Indeed. it's a good thing. Many humans abuse and kill animals (poachers and such) for profit. The animal instinct of avoiding us is typically a good thing. Unless if the animal is in desperate need and caring humans are nearby.
Im crying watching this......salute to all these people
