Nymphia's yellow hair flip at the very end, as she lands her split, has been mesmerizing me. It feels like the perfect button for this lip sync battle, and in a way, it's like a quick encapsulation of what Nymphia was doing throughout the performance: yes, stunts and all, but mostly, she was having a great time on that stage, being youthful, and projecting it out to everyone else, from one side of the audience to the other. That's a great finale lip sync battle, a great moment in RuPaul's Drag Race history.
And also the way the naturally slides after the split, naturally being visible from behind Sapphira. It's as if the Universe helped her

and the pose she hits instantly after doing a one-hand cartwheel reveal like it was effortless
Nymphia actually really did completely blow me away with this. The balloons, the cartwheel reveal, the gymnastics, moving around the stage and performing to the entire audience and to her sisters, her entire performance is hypotizing. This is one of the best lip syncs in the entire franchise. It gave me goosebumps.

the timing of her yellow ponytail flip was genius - it left a visual impression for the finale of the lip sync battle. sapphira also had a pony tail but did nothing with it to create a memorable visual splash. by delaying the pony tail flip of just 1 sec after sapphira's split, Nymphia had the last word. her performance was fucking awesome, period!

Nymphia took some *HUGE* risks if you think about it: The unpredictable movement of the balloons, the risky cartwheel reveal, the handstand and performing to the audience NOT the judges. And it paid of, she had to take those risks to win and her strategy worked.
for me when she went at the audience and then her sisters, she got extra points and won, well since the balloons reveal she won
Those were all calculated risks bc there are videos of her all over socmed now showing that she rehearsed the reveal and the cartwheel many times before the finale
the ''balloons'' are black tea bubbles or tapioca pearls. Look up *'Taiwanese bubble tea'* and you will see her costume is a homage to Taiwan Bubble tea. Her reveal of Boba Tea "balloons" is at Kylie's _"Shivers and Butterflies"_ lyric. Perfect timing. 🍵⚫⚫⚫🦋🦋🦋⚫⚫⚫

I didn't know Nymphia before she won this competition and reported it by Taiwan News. For me, she didn't only introduce Taiwan to the USA audiencs, but also increased Drag Race's reputation to Taiwan people.

And to me it was such a close call between the two of them, both had great energy, stunts, use of stage and you could see the absolute fight from both of them.

After watching the lipsync around 30 times, I can tell my favorite thing is how happy and playful Nymphia is, the way she’s running around on stage, interacting with everyone is really endearing, you can tell she’s really enjoying her moment. Apart from the sickening dancing of course

Those who don’t think Nymphia should have won I must say … In her native land of Taiwan the drag queen niche is so small and competitive that virtually everyone had to werk hard perfecting the craft in hosting, sewing, dancing, comedy, acting, etc.. Those who can’t or won’t would never land a gig. She went to RPDR very schooled and prepared. She was also fortunate to hide her lip sync arsenal throughout the whole season only to use it as the coup de force at the end. That said, I must admit Saphira is an incredible and well rounded drag queen and deserve to be recognized.

Nymphia really planned the transitioning of each look carefully and it all went fabulously well. The more obvious once were the cape, dress, etc. 1:12 but that hair transition might have been simple but to me was equally as memorable as the rest because the first time I watched the lipsync I didn't notice that her hairstyle changed and when it happened. Because is was so smoothly executed which is why it was so memorable to me. Many people undermine her win and say that her "scurrying" and running all over the stage was frantic and sloppy. But to me everything Nymphia did perfectly balanced each other out. Her performance had just the perfect amount of finesse and chaos, and I loved every bit of it. All hail the Banana Queen, Queen of Wind, Nymphia Wind. I hope you get all the leche you want during your reign.

Sapphira ended up looking like a zumba instructor. I was expecting her to slay this but Nymphia not lip syncing the entire season brought out a lot a surprises. I thought before shes was just a look queen but shes a performer too and a very good one!
the more i watch this, the more i see just how little Sapphira gave for the final performance. she didn't use the whole stage. she looked nervous. her outfit and wig reveals came TOO late. She stood in one place for far too long. it was not even close.

nymphia for me, was a perfect example of how to do successful reveals, her first reveal was something that we know would be a reveal but we never expected the balloons underneath, and the second reveal added an element of surprise too by doing a cartwheel succesfully while revealing into her signature yellow style of drag, and then with the stunts everywhere matching up to sapphira's kicks and splits, it was just puss all around, im so proud of her

I was today years old when i realized Sapphia did a wig reveal. I was so focused on Nymphia this was just a master class in lipsyncing, she embodied the song, the tricks were unique and thought out, and most importantly she had fun up there and didn't look like she was in her head, not nervous at all.

I keep rewatching this lip-sync because of how iconic it is. I was screaming on Friday during it. Nymphia shocked me so much, I'm so glad THIS is when she got to show us what she's capable of and not sooner. The impact just wouldn't have been the same or hit as hard as it did. I think though my favorite part of the lip-sync is Nymphia worked the crowd and not just for Ru. Nymphia made it HER show while also respecting Sapphira's space. I don't think we've ever had a lip-sync where a queen worked the crowd so much.
